Project Summary

Vehicle breakdowns are a common problem faced by people on almost daily basis and if they occur
midway to your destination it becomes a bigger problem as you are already worried about reaching
your destination and you have a new problem along that is your stranded vehicle, this problem can
occur mid-city or highway that can be a disaster. Commonly people are unknown to nearest local
mechanics and to handle this type of situation we introduce a digitalized solution, a mobile
application that will provide assistance in locating you the nearest mechanic and avail their services
like vehicle repairing, towing or handling a flat tire in minimum possible accessibility cost.

Project Objectives

Our project focuses a common problem faced by many people in day to day life that is vehicle
breakdown in the middle of road leaving you helpless without the knowledge of local facilities to
overcome the issue, In our project we are designing an easy fast digital solution in the form of a
mobile application to overcome this issue. It will help people locate the local mechanics and avail
their services at a minimum cost, with the use of technology. Our target audience will be two types of
users
1) A common person travelling on road or having a broken vehicle at home.
2) a mechanic service provider

Project Implementation Method

Draw. Io: It will be used for modelling a full-fledged Hi fidelity prototype.
Flutter/Kotlin: It will be used for the development of the mobile application.
Firebase: It will be used as database and user authentication tool.
Git: It will be used for project management and live handling of code and app versions.

Benefits of the Project

Once getting stuck on highway with my broken car was enough to make me exhausted and
motivating at the same time to get the idea of this solution for the trouble I faced, as I was
continuously searching for mechanics on Google map but couldn’t find any local mechanic when
there were multiple options around due to their less customer visit ratio then locals helped me
finding the nearest mechanic workshop. At the same time I realised same problem is faced my many
people in city too when they are unknown to the specific area.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This project is highly beneficial for vehicle owners who instantly need local mechanics around their
area in city or road and mechanics that are less approached due to their odd or unknown work
locations.
• First objective is to help the vehicle owners to instantly find out local mechanics around
them.
• Second objective is to provide the lost business opportunities to the mechanics that are
less approached due to several reasons. Also many mechanics face difficulty of shop rent and low
frequency of customers.
• Third is to provide expert mechanics according to their expertise and user provided ratings.
