Project Summary

Laundry app  is an on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service app that offers door-to-door service. The customers can find the nearest laundry shops in the vicinity and get pick up and delivery service as per their convenience. The vendors can list their services and generate revenue using this laundry app.We are designing and developing an app like Cleanly that provides the best laundry and dry cleaning services in Pakistan. There are very few apps available to make the process easier.The customers can get laundry pickup and delivery service using the user app. The laundry shop owners can get customers using their app. The drivers can get notified when their services are required and the admin can manage all the other components and assets.

The dry cleaning algorithm works in a few simple steps:

1. You make an order for a laundry service online or via the app;
2. The company’s or shop representative comes to collect all of your clothes;
3. With the help of cleaning facilities your clothing is cleaned/dry cleaned or ironed, depending on the request;
4. Your costumes are delivered back to you, spotless as they were guaranteed to during the next 48 hours. :)

1.Sign Up and Sign In

The registered customers can directly sign in to the app using their email id and password. The new customers need to sign up by using their email address and a mobile number that can be verified by the admin. In case the user forgets their password, they easily recover it by clicking on ‘Forgot Password?

2.Home Screen

The home screen of this laundry and dry cleaning service app is the main screen. This screen displays the featured laundries as well as the nearby laundries. The customer can see the details like the name of the laundry pickup service, user rating, distance, timings, address, and services they provide.

3.Search

This feature lets the customers search for laundry of their choice. There is a search bar on the top of the screen in which the user can just type the name of the laundry that they prefer to check if it is registered with the app. They can see if the laundry is open or look for another laundry that they like.

4.Choose Service

After selecting a laundry and entering the address, the customer now selects the type of service- Standard or Express. Then the customer selects the washing service- dry clean, detergent, petrol wash. The next step is to mention the type and number of clothes to be washed, and the pick-up type at last.

5.Order Summary

The order summary screen gives complete details about the current order. The customer can see details like laundry name, saved address, selected services, delivery charges, pickup date and time, delivery date and time range, the delivery priority. At last, the user can apply a promo code and proceed to payment.

6.Rate Us

After the customer has received the laundry services like Cleanly, they can rate their laundry experience on the app. This helps to improve the services of the laundries as well as the app.

In Today’s modernization flow of the world has witnessed tremendous change in lifestyle of society. Computerized system in managing laundry has been well accepted especially in developing countries. This service is well accepted because it gives flexibility in terms of time for laundry management team to use it and this really helps them with their time management.

Aim and Objectives

The aim of this project is to develop a system that can handle and manage the activities involved in a laundry in an efficient and reliable way. The objectives for this project are:

i. Computerized System

The proposed system will implement the computerized system which can perform a better managing process for the laundry. The data of the laundry service and the customer will keep in the save manner without the problem of losing the data.

ii. System and User Privileges System

User privileges will be implemented in the proposed system to setting up the user level for each system user. This function is to provide the limitation of system accessing.

iii. Increase time performance

The time management is very important for the laundry management to ensure the service performs in better condition and on time. In addition, by using the computerized system, the business process will be more effective and faster.

Project Implementation Method

In this modernised world, everything is done within a tap of a mobile phone. Each service is offering online services for their customers. Actually saying we became much lazier due to these technologies that's where it comes the ‘digital-world’. Contacting a dhobi, waiting for his arrival and paying him, all these costs valuable time of a working people. And in this pandemic situation physical contact is dangerous. There are laundry services and they do not provide its service online. To avoid this problem we have created a dhobi service app called “Superdry”. One of our motive of building this Laundry Application is to provide employment to those washer-men who are unemployed. Through this app a customer can place order for various laundry services. The dhobi will collect the clothes from the customer house and after washing, will deliver it back. And the customer can make an online payment or even can pay on delivery. Here the time is saved and the contactless service is achieved. Here both the customer and the dhobi are benefited.

With mobile Apps, they now have an option to stay ahead of the competition by getting more opportunities in comparison of competitors. The App not only helps to get recognition, but it also makes things very easy for the end user that directly translates to more popularity and business.

Mobility not only increases the usability, but it also makes the work a lot easier to anyone, who is taking the help of it. Imagine yourself in a scenario where you are counting your clothes in a closet and taking the ones out that needs a laundry. Now, with the help of an App, you could do everything there itself. Like selecting which ones are woollen and whatever the options are there on an App. If you don’t have an App for the similar situation, then you have to write everything down on a piece of paper and then have to come down in a room to access the website or have to simply call the number and need to tell him the details and address then wait for him to come and collect. That will also require you to tell the kind, type and number of clothes when the laundry guy will come to collect them from your place. All this will make the entire process too time consuming and as our busy lives don’t leave us with enough time, an App is the best way to keep the user engaged on this.

The app we are going to make is based on flutter and it is for both ios and andriod system
