Advanced Voice Based Home Security System
In today’s busy and unsecure world, everyone prefer to manage their time and for everyone security of their possessions come first. Under consideration of these two things we want to give a solution which is both time saving and highly secure for our homes. For this issue many projects have proposed as home automation system for security.
In this project, smart energy efficient home automation system is proposed that can access and control the home equipments from every corner of the world. For this system, Internet connectivity module is attached to the main supply unit of the home system which can be accessed through the Internet. Home automation is based on multimodal application that can be operated using voice recognition command of the user using the Google Assistant or through a web based application.In home automation systems you can use to control appliances in your home like lights, door locks, and air conditioning through a web interface or smartphone application.

In Advanced voice controlled home automation system Internet connectivity module is attached to the main supply unit of the home system which can be accessed through the Internet. Further we can control appliances in our home like lights, door locks, and air conditioning through a web interface and with smartphone application.
The core component of this system is the Arduino Mega which has a microcontroller i.e Atmega 328. Atmega 328 has a32KB flash, it is needed to burn a boot loader and download arduino sketches. The boot loader is programmed under ISP program controller.
An adapter of 12V output power supply is used as an input to the voice controlled arduino system. Relays are connected to the output pins of Arduino Mega, these are used as switches to the loads.
We prefer android platform because of its huge market globally and it is easy to use user interface. The voice recognizer which is an inbuilt feature of android phones is used to build an application which the user can operate to automate the appliances at his house. For wireless communication system a Bluetooth module HC-05 is used as a remote which is connected to the control unit for sensing the signals sent by the android voice application.
The application first searches for the Bluetooth device. If it is available then it launches the voice recognizer. It reads the voice and converts the audio signal into string. It provides a value for each appliance which will be fed to the microcontroller device. The microcontroller uses the port in serial mode. After reading the data it decodes the input value and sends a signal to the parallel port through which the relay circuit will be activated.
And for long distance (like out of country) we develop a website page so a person can control his/her home appliances through internet.
In our project we proposed an integrated smart home system which can be monitored and controlled by simple user friendly mobile application. Also, all the systems will be interconnected and voice commands will be added for controlling the devices within a particular range
We are merging two technologies. In first phase we will use Arduino along with relay module to connect devices to control them we develop an application in which we use voice of authorized persons to access the devices at home. The Arduino Uno connected with ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to implement the micro web server for the home gateway. A conventional light switch will be integrated with the Arduino using relay driver module to demonstrate the switching capability. This hardware architecture is very flexible and allows other home appliances and devices to be seamlessly integrated with minimal changes. To access this system globally we created a webpage which have all the features of our suggested system.
