Biometric based election system (interuniversity) is a secure and fully functional polling program which may use to conduct different kinds of pure elections. This program or application produce pure, secure and highly analyses election results. The Biometric based election system is a hardware based embedded system where we are using biometric device to get the thumbs record of the candidate and voter.
Main objective of the idea is to develop a secure and advanced election or polling system which can produce pure and highly analyzed election result which will reduce the chances of fraud, duplication and unauthorized access to system.
The project Biometric based election system is the interconnection of embedded hardware system and computer program. Embedded hardware system (Biometric device) will be used to authorize the voter or candidates and the computer program will be used to take the result after authorization through the secure getaway and produce the highly analyzed result.
This is one of the most complex task for management of different organizations or specially universities to conduct different elections like student society’s election or faculty nominations. Currently all the universities in Pakistan are still using traditional methodologies for polling which takes much more times to analyze the result. In different prospective this traditional method is not efficient. It is very hard to produce pure result in traditional election concept. The basic idea of biometric based election system is to facilitate the university administration or management to conduct secure election system by using biometric authentication for both the candidate and voter.
Project Biometric based election system has two main parts or areas. One part is only accessible to voter where they can perform selected action. Voter can only authorize themselves and input their choice by selection different pols through the screen. While the area is only for administrator where they can perform different high level actions like registration of candidates and voters. Adding deleting and modifying access of different details (names, signs and area of nominations etc.).
i. Risks Involved: The main risk within the system is physical damages if the system runs offline or through the local area network.
In offline, all the will be saved into database within a machine. If the machine got damage all the data can be deleted.

Active interconnection if system goes for online instead of offline.
