Vision Inspired Automatic Attendance Verification System
Our project is software and hardware based, it’s an advance attendance system based on RFID and camera. Through RFID student mark attendance and when student comes to class camera take picture of student and match it with the RFID record, if any extra student is sitting and forget to bring his RFID tag so by counting system it mark the missing attendance and if the attendance is higher than the number of students sitting in the class then its mean student has gone before come to class so it cancel its attendance.
When teacher press the button Camera takes the picture and count the heads to check the number of students sitting in the class and takes the picture of the faces of students and save it in the software then software shows the marked attendance with face to teacher if the attendance is marked and that face is not sitting in the class teacher cancel that attendance, because that’s mean someone else bring the card and sitting on behalf of the student.

The proposed system solves several problems in existing solutions. The attendance very large class, for example 200 students, will be marked in few min with high accuracy. As stated above, RFID based solution or Face recognition based solutions have several limitations. RFID based is fast but one student can mark the attendee of many absent students, whereas, face recognition based solution is very expensive if university implements that as there are 6000 students. Yet, in market, there is no product which can give solution for face recognition for large number of faces. Our solution is cheap, fast, and reliable if implemented in university level. All we need one RFID scanner, and one camera in the class.
We will give complete interfaces for student attendance system which will store lecturer, lectures, and student information in the database along with student faces and their RFID stamps.
