The project basically offers an option of shared fare for the online cab service. The main idea behind the
project is to divide the fair e.g. we call an Uber and we use the cab service, we have the pay the fair. This
project is dividing the fare on number of seats and number of passenger travelling in a single cab. This is much
more economical for people travelling alone, they pay less for the same ride and gets to their respective
destinations in the same comfort, There is also the option of riding alone and pay the full fare by user alone.
The objective of the project is to provide affordable cab services to people in a manner that can help towards
the environment change. A cab with single person travelling20 kilometer will emit same amount of carbon
monoxide as a cab travelling 20 kilometer with 4 persons, this is a more efficient and economical way
travelling.
The project has basically 2 ends,
1. Service User(e.g. People looking for a cab)
2. Service Provider(e.g. Driver)
The drivers can register themselves online and have a different interface then the user. They can see users
calling for rides and if they are looking for single ride or multiple people ride. They can select which ride they
would like to take and fare is fixed the company.
Users can call the ride selecting if they want to ride alone or take a multiple people ride. Their location from
the map will be picked up and the ride will be passed along the drivers in the nearest vicinity. Users can also
put in the end locations of their rides.
