Project Summary

TaleemLo is an desktop and mobile application designed for better interaction between management, faculty, students and parents. It consists of two versions, one is desktop version that is used for management and faculty to do their routine tasks and other one is mobile version used for parents to keep an eye on their children and stay updated with result reports and daily attendance using mobile app. This all will be done using central database to ensure that the data is also not redundant.

Project Objectives

Key objectives for making this system is to convert the traditional schooling into a digital one so they can do their work efficiently. Traditional systems takes time even if you are doing simple routine task or writing the things down to keep track of your data or records. Our objective is to get rid all of this and it will then reduce the time for doing daily tasks and also man power utilized to do these tasks.

Project Implementation Method

Implementation of projects desktop application will be done using Visual Studio Community edition.

• Backend: C# (C-Sharp)
• Frontend: WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)

Mobile Application implementation will be done using either Visual Studio Community or Visual Studio Code.

• Backend: C# /Ionic
• Frontend: XAML / Ionic

Web Api using Asp.Net C#.

We are also testing ionic parallel to c# for cross-platform applications development.

Database using SQL Server on Amazon AWS RDS (Cloud/ Serverless).

Benefits of the Project

Projects will be beneficial to the school authorities in many aspects of daily tasks.

• Crystal Reports for students records.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Final Deliverable will consist of Desktop Application that can be used for all the management and record keeping purposes.

Mobile Application for parents to keep them updated with student reports and bios and push notification alerts.

SQL Server online database server (Amazon AWS RDS).
