The demand for Electronic Appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, etc. is highly increasing, especially in summers, but electronic appliances are not economical because of high electricity bills. In this regard, we propose a smart energy router that performs switching between two sources to distribute the load and also monitor and display the electricity consumption.

Our designed project will give users basic information of temperature, voltage, current and power unit consumption, etc. The storing and displaying of information will be done by Arduino/ESP module tcall as it provides an internet connectivity facility.

In the era of technology where everything is proceeding towards automation, the usage of smart products is increasing as well. We mainly target industries, offices and educational institutes to control and monitor the consumption and usage of electricity.

Project Objectives

The demand for Electronic Appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, etc. are highly increasing, especially in summers, but electronic appliances are not economical because of high electricity bills. We propose a smart energy router which perform real time switching between solar and grid energy for distribute load between solar and grid energy due to which monthly bill of electricity will be affordable.

As the demand for solar power is increasing day by day due to load shedding and higher rate of electricity units in Pakistan, people are slowly change their mode of electricity usage. This product controls the solar-grid switching network.

Project Implementation Method

The idea is to make a product which is integrated with several systems. IN the beginning, the system of inverter (stable conversion of DC to AC) is connected to the system which performs routing (switching between solar and grid inputs based on voltage threshold) and is controlled through microcontroller (Arduin/ESP module tcall). Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This product will interface solar and grid energy and will monitor 24/7. The product contain two sources namely, solar energy and the other one is grid. This product contain two/three outputs and OLED displaying voltage, current, temperature.
