This project sets out our recommendations for the minimum performance requirements of the home display that will be provided to domestic customers. Among the lower requirements there is the need to introduce the use of cost and consumption, which customers find easy to understand. We also suggest that the display should include a visual presentation (e.g. non-numerical) that allows consumers to easily distinguish between high and low levels of current use. The most visible part of the meter measurement system for consumers will be an independent indoor indicator (IHD), which will provide them with information on their energy use. This response can help consumers understand and change their energy consumption, reduce debt.
The independent IHD should be provided, which will bring information closer to real-time to users using their power in an easily accessible way.
This scheme would allow Automatic reading, Show units and price of devices. It will generate accurate reading and cost. The user can access data anytime from anywhere. This device having feature of load management for home and also for home appliances. It will keep record of reading of users appliances and save it automatically. There will be no chance of confusion for users for paying the bill they will compare the data from this device and can easily pay bill without any confusion. We can easily check data of every single appliance in home by this device. We can also put limit for our home load in this device as limit reached the supply cut off automatically

The electricity system is changing and advancing day by day. Many of us listen about (smart grid), (smart appliances), But we don’t know how it works, and what is its advantages and drawbacks. There are some appliances which require more energy while some require less energy which makes the problem of unbalancing prices in electricity bills. It’s also known as time of use (TOU). Now a day’s new technology in which the user can not only see the fixed peak periods and off fixed period’s electricity consumption but by this technology it can also see the consumption of short interval of time. IHD (In home display) which is an (indication visual)
which shows the consumption of electricity of an individual and also show the cost.
Many of peoples due to lack of works the peoples don’t go near the meter and then they can’t calculate the reading because of the changing of numbers or registers in meter if anybody which know to calculate the reading from meter and calculating the cost that how much user have consumed units so it will be difficult and more time consuming.
It will also show that which load is ON and how much it is consuming units in real time.
By this device the user can know the appliances consumption that which appliance consume more electricity and which Appliance consuming less than the user can calculate that which is high price period and which device is low price period and those which are high price period the user can put a limit on that appliance.
