As there are above 70 companies in UK offering electricity and gas claiming to be giving you the best services and best rates, here you can find a list through which you can make a comparison for the services with tariff. Also make it easy for you to work on it online instead of wasting a lot of time searching on Internet. Here you must enter your postcode, or your meter number and a list of suppliers will be displayed with their tariff, services and meter type.

• Costumer can get best energy prices offering in his area.
• Costumer can have his contract done within a while.
• Pop up messages for reminder whenever contract is about to finish.
• Save secured and easy way of searching best prices and contract confirmation.
• Broker have LOA (latter of authority) which help costumer to resolve his problem by doing nothing at all.

Project Objectives

Main objective:

Make comparison among tariffs of different energy suppliers and make easy for you to apply for switching from one supplier to another online.

Project Implementation Method

We are developing a user-friendly Mobile APP for commercial costumers of UK. Who can just in one click can make their contracts. The contract will be legally binding contract. All they have to do is just need to make their online login and then enter there details personal and meter details and choose the best option and e sign on that specific contract.   

A customer first will sign up by his name, email, address, business name and mobile number. And any time can see the best option if his/her contract is in renewal time period. He can see list of companies along with rating and their prices and choose one of them. Then system will provide Contract documents to e sign it along with LOA. Then when again contract become up for renewal they will receive pop up message. 

Development Model:

Iterative development model with sprints every 2nd day.

Data Storage for implementation:

For Local storage, we use sqfLite

For Online storage, we use firebase firestore DS, MySQL DB

 

Implementation Tools:

• Flutter framework will be used
• Dart Language will be used for programing

• Data will be kept saved in data base and contract will be signed via Adobe.

• We’re aimed at designing and developing a total new interface which will be user friendly and easy to use

Every single house and business needs electricity, and for them the best part is, we filter out the best suppliers in their area with the help of their postcode. They can get new supplier to switch their electric or also if they are already on the best one. They can make a renewal with the same company again to extend the duration of the Contract. All will be online without any problems and headache of insecurities.

We had done a survey with citizens of UK and according to them to choose best energy provider is really a hectic job. So it’s going to be a great work if we develop such an app which help them to choose best provider option in easiest and quick way. And ofcourse, 98% of their population are aware of using of smart phone and apps.

Our aim is to make such app which takes data from users and help them to choose the best energy options available in their area. As we have a direct connection with all energy resources in UK which is our leading hand and yes this application can be developed.

The main concern of the projects is to provide to all the customers of UK the best rates and according to their ease.

• Economic feasibility = Cost estimates + benefit estimates
• Cost estimates = Development + Maintenance + Operation costs
• Development =break the project into tasks and use the lifecycle cost models. Experienced costs gained from similar projects should then be used to make estimates. The function point metric should be calculated.
• Benefit estimates= Tangible benefits + Intangible benefits
• Tangible benefits =Reduced costs + Increased revenues
• Non tangible benefits = Information quality + Job satisfaction + External standing

Schedule Details

We will spend major Portion of our time on backend and then we will start working on alternative ways of different modules. And approximately backend will take 4 to 5 months and rest things will be easy to complete within 1 to 2 months and remaining time is going to be spend on error fixing and debugging and then testing.  

Specification Details

Energy Companies will provide their prices and we will list it down and show to our customers. Costumers will choose best option then will E-sign the contract. For E-sign we will use Adobe Paid E-sign facility which will keep costumer data safe and secure.

Information Details

Costumer will have specific logins and will be able to check their current contract status, Contract end date and their renewal time Period. So in this way costumer will become addicted to it and in future this is going to be a need in market.

This is going to be first energy App having outstanding features so, love to work on it with great passion and off course we have best teachers and seniors as well to guide.

According to our research there will be no infringements or liabilities arise from this project. Because we are going to use best platform with secure and ease service provided by Adobe.
