A well designed mobile application will attract new customers to your restaurant, online reservations are increasing rapidly with so many consumers seeking out restaurants via the web, and a well-designed application for a restaurant needs a few key elements that a customer looking to book would want to see. So we present you this system where an App for the users and the admin and restaurant completes the package of restaurant & bookings. The user can browse through number of restaurants on the basis of cuisines and check for all their details and pictures uploaded by the restaurant, and the user can book it by selecting the tables as well and other functionalities. The user can cancel and check his booking history or even review his previous experiences with the restaurant. While the admin is responsible to add a restaurant and check the booking history or user list. The restaurant user can check all the booking and enter check and check out status or even block a user from booking it again.

Project Objectives

The goal was to design and implement powerful, user-friendly, multi-user android application software developed using Android studio as IDE on JAVA. It aims to be a fully functional and professional reservation and booking app which can be used by any modern smart device using client, manage and control all day-to-day operations whether customer, restaurant or admin related. user can also utilize the system to manage reservations, orders, looking for menu and restaurants, specifically created for them, etc.

The key objective of current project was to allow the management administration and employees of a restaurant to grip the customers to place their orders and to find free tables according to their required number of seats. Seatme app will enable the user to access and manage the arrangements of table and food. The general objective of seatme was to build up a reservation system for table reservation to assist workers with solving basic issues with their manual reservation system for example utilization of time, cash and vulnerability.

  7. This application will be produced essentially to provide a proof for appropriate client versatile cooperation.
Project Implementation Method

Our approach was based on the Agile Scrum development methodology, which can be thought of as a series of short, reflexive sprints,this seemed to be the most suitable method of development because of its flexible and non-rigid characteristics as opposed to the traditional waterfall approach.

The development team worked as a unit to reach the goals.The main rationale behind the choosing of Scrum was because of the fact that this methodology accepts that the problem cannot be fully understood or defined at the beginning and must continuously refined,this seemed the best approach for us students who were keen to treat this entire development process as a major learning experience,we wished to gain new knowledge along with applying our already known concepts.

Benefits of the Project

The product is aimed for people who wander in the city to looking for restaurants and if getting the desired place mostly they don’t get available seats, as a solution seatme app is provided which makes it possible to reserve their seats and table at desired restaurant with just a click.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The “seat me ”presently runs a manual reservation system and as customers are desirous to find a handy application for reservation of tables or any other services to avoid physical walking to the restaurant or contacting by call or reserving through a middle man. Current research was aimed to design an application for table reservation and online booking system. Restaurant table reservation system is an android application that can affectively improve their restaurant table reservation system in order to provide direct access of every user to the management. It has given the benefits of effective booking corridor or to hold their accessible table with holding up through an android application.
