As per energy demand is increasing day by day Thermoelectric devices are a great option to increase efficiency of renewable energy systems like solar, wind, thermal, hydro etc.  With The help amazing properties of thermoelectric devices  we can increase the efficiency  of our renewable system  like solar by 3.6% to 4.1% respectively with the help of decreasing temperature of solar panel and by adding  generator source with the solar system will lead to increase its efficiency this can be possible by the effect of thermoelectric cell which are named as seebeck effect. with the help of seebeck effect of thermoelectric devices we can induce voltage by creating temperature differnce across the hot and cold side of thermoelectric cells. greater the temperature difference greater the induced voltage.however the overall efficiency of solar panel  will rise because at high temperature the efficiency of solar panel decrease so when temperature of solar panel will be decrease it will lead increase the efficiency of solar system. we also connect some devices like MPPT controller and DC to DC Converter. These devices will filter the output power and boost up the output of overall hybrid solar thermoelectric system to maximum . The efficiency of solar pannel is increased upto 28%  from 18% by water floating, CSP on thermoelectric cells and MPPT technique. in this study this maximum output power of hybrid solar Thermoelectric generation system will use for home automation this home automation is done by using nodemcu and Android app is developed to control the different types of electric loads of a home. To this complete automation setup the nodemcu controller is also used this controller will control the load with respect to  the virtual command from the Android app to  turn ON and turn OFF  the electric load of different kind The Thyristors and relays are also used for this complete setup of automated home  and this over hybrid solar thermoelectric generation system and IOT based Home Automation conclude that it is a best and  efficient system to operate  the electrical DC loads of a home  with  maximum output of electrical power.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

The first method that will be mainly implemented for extracting the maximum power from the pv pannel is perterb and observe. this method will be applicable on the solar pannel and yields the MPP ponit of the voltage,current curve.

Now the second method that will be applicable  on the thermoelectric pannel is Concenterated Solar Power (CSP). in this method the hot side of  thermoelectric cells are exposed to sunlight and this sunlight is focused on the cells by using convex lens, while the cold side of cells are floated on water in order to create big temperature difference between the hot and cold side of thermoelectric cells. greater the temperature difference greater the output power from the thermoelectric pannel.

the third and final method for controlling and managing the  load is IOT based home automation .in this method, the load connetced with PV and thermoelectric pannel are turned on and off by using the android app which are interacted with wifi.

Benefits of the Project

The solar plays an important role in this era in which fossil fuels are depleting on its peak. The renewable source (solar) will be used and efficiency of solar will be increased in this project. The generation of solar will be used for home appliances and for making the home smart the IOT based smart application will be developed for home automation. Scope for the home automation systems involves making homes even smarter. Homes can be interfaced with sensors and provide automated toggling of devices based on conditions.

All group members will work together on the off grid hybrid solar thermoelectric generation system for home automation; this project stays within the necessary scope of the course. The most time spent on the project will take place during the design and testing portion, where the structure and actuation come together, and necessary changes will be made in order to achieve what is desired.
