An Android Application, which will provide a complete platform for service provider and consumer. Here consumer will search for needed service around him/her among registered service providers.

SAY allows you to be truly free of your worries as we make sure to provide to you the best service by service providers with a few taps on your phone. First you share your need and worries with us, With Search Around You app you can get affordable, reliable and quick home services at the comfort of your home. You can choose from a huge range of technical, professional and personalized services. We let you send requests for professional services through the app by answering simple questions including your budget range and the time slot to avail the service. Once you choose a service, at rusted expert of Service provider will be sent at your place.

We are offering Home Services like Electrician, Plumber, Car Mechanics, Carpenter, Home cleaners etc. and Professional Services like Fitness Trainers, Beauticians, and Photographers etc. A consumer can search nearby location of the required service provider and consumer can also trace location by GPS.

Project Objectives

Project Goal:   Provide an online platform for service provider and consumer, where they can easily approach to each other. Here provider’s service has a more visibility to the consumer and consumers have a fast approach to the service provider.

Service provider shop/agency will be visible to a wide range of consumer not limited to his own shop. Also consumer will get service with single click and have a choice to select a service provider with good rating from previous consumer and with required facility.

Project Implementation Method

We use Scrum Agille Develoment Method to develop our system. Scrum is a lightweight agile project management framework with broad applicability for managing and controlling iterative and incremental projects of all types.

We use Android Studio for client mobile app development, asp.net, MVC and SQL Server for server side development and photoshop CS6 for designing of project. Moreover we deploy the project on Google Playstore, hosted the database and hire Service Provider to make it oprational.

Benefits of the Project

SAY platform will a good mediating factor among service provider and consumer. Here we will cover the service and stuff visibility to the consumer and a refine and fast approach to the provider from consumer. Provide an online platform for service provider and consumer, where they can easily approach to each other. Here provider’s service has a more visibility to the consumer and consumer have a fast approach to the service provider.

Admin:

• User Login and Have a dashboard
• Confirm Service Provider
• Can Add, Remove User.

Service Provider:

• Register himself.
• Can Login – After Admin confirmation.
• Have a dashboard
• Have a profile, having a detail of service and workplace
• Have a portfolio and can add new portfolio
• Have a image gallery
• Can change location of work
• Make himself online, when available to provide service.
• Can add additional facilities like home delivery etc.
• Have a rating and feedback history from consumer.
• After accept service providing booking request.
• During he/she will not visible in any consumer search
• After providing service he can complete the booking status
• Have a list of all bookings with detail.

Consumer:

• Register himself.
• Can Login
• Search service provider
• Search service provider with different parameter like location, charges etc.
• Can check service provider gallery, rating, and other facilities etc. detail
• Can book service provider
• After booking completion, he/she will confirm the service provider completion request
• Will rate and review booking after completion
• Have a list of all bookings with detail.
