My project namely "Seare" is a mobile application that will provide a platform for tailors to share their work & get hired online. Our application will show tailors to the users to get the best tailor from your city. Our project is based on two applications: 1) Consumer App, 2) Tailor App.

Project Summary

My project namely "Seare" is a mobile application that will provide a platform for tailors to share their work & get hired online. Our application will show tailors to the users to get the best tailor from your city. Our project is based on two applications: 1) Consumer App, 2) Tailor App. In the tailor app, the tailors will create their account & upload their best work for the users. In the consumer app, there will be a list of tailors and users can sort the list according to different aspects, i.e. Price, Rating, Location, etc. Our project will also need some experts to check the profile of the tailors because the quality of work will be our priority. With the help of this platform, the females that are working from home can also get extra clients and earn more. We also offer different packages for collective works or events. Our app will also promote the handicrafts of different cultures and sell them at a very reasonable price.

Project Objectives

Below are the main objectives of Seare Project

• Automate the current manual tailoring system and maintain a searchable customer, product database, maintain data security and user rights.
• To enable customers to send their measurements to their tailors for their clothes to be made.
• To provide information about the cost, the fabric type, the urgency at which a customer wants the dress finished, the type of material to be used, and quantity in terms of pairs needed.
• To compute the total cost depending on the selected fabric, type of material, quantity, and duration and avails that information to the customer
• Provide employment to women

Project Implementation Method

A good product/ project needs many efforts of humans and to meet the requirements of the emerging world of technology, it needs good technical support. “Seare” will also need a good team to make it successful and good software implementation that makes user’s experience unbelievable.

Our implementation is distributed in the following parts:

1. Making Team:

For the better experience of users, we need expert tailors that will ensure quality work and cost computing at our platform. Whenever the new tailor creates the account, he/she should have to meet our quality requirements to start working on our platform.

2. Branches:

To remove the communication gap between our tailors, we will open our small branches in the main cities of the province that will work on the delivery of clothes and maintain good quality at our platform.

3. Software Implementation:

The software implementation is our main aspect that will help the users and tailors to communicate with each other. We will develop two mobile applications for consumers and tailors particular, the apps will be utilized to register and store the data of users and show them the persons of their needs. Our consumer app will store the all different measurements of the user, whether it is for “shalwar/kameez“ or “Pant/Shirt”. Then every time the user will only have to place the order rather than providing the size again & again. Our quality will also be maintained through the review system after every order is completed by the tailor our app will ask for the rating/review of the work of the tailor.

Benefits of the Project

Our project is so much helpful for the woman that is an expert in tailoring but due to a limited area, they are not able to target many customers. With the help of our app, they will be able to showcase their work and get many orders. Our riders will be delivering the clothes from customers to the tailors with very low charges. Our app will also provide complete tutorials on how to make correct measurements of their clothes.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our project is based on a mobile application and we will go through the below phases to complete & deploy our project.

1. Prototyping:

UX and UI plays a vital role in every consumer software project which helps users to interact with our app in a very friendly manner. For the best user experience of our project, we will start working on UI/UX using Adobe XD to make user interaction very friendly.

2. Development:

For the application development, we will use both platforms Android & iOS. For now we will start working on iOS using SwiftUI as frontend and Swift 5.0 for backend development.

3. Databases:

In our project, we will store the data of users i.e. their profiles, usernames, emails, measurements, etc. We will also store the profiles and images of tailors that will be shown to their customers. For storing the data, we need a fast database that will help us to store data on the cloud and access it to our website and mobile applications as well.

For all of this to work perfectly as we want, we will be using firebase firestore.

This feature of the firebase database allows to evaluate client behavior and make informed decisions.

• Crash Reporting to fix bugs:

Firebase also helps to address the performance issues of an app by fixing bugs right from its backend solution.

• Synchronizing data with real-time databases

With Firebase you can sync the offline and online data through NoSQL database. This makes the application data available on both offline and online states of the app.
