Marriage halls are a famous choice for events, many halls have online booking websites. A well designed internet website always attracts new customers for the event halls, online reservation are increasing day by day and most of those websites lack a proper design and the lack a few key factors that a customer needs to review before booking an event place. In the proposed system the customer can e-book the desired event place, the customer can also cancel and take a look at reserving history. Admin is responsible to add a marque, event place, event planner, check the booking history and client details, the marquee manager can check all the bookings and enter check in and check out status and can also block a user from booking their event place again. Admin, client, marque manager, event planner all of them will have a separate profile.

Project Objectives

This project is basically surround some aspect related to Event Management System. Our project is basically an android application that is used for booking an avenue for events and event planners to organize that event. There are 4 main users in this system. One is admin, second is client, third is avenue owners and forth is event planners.

Basically a user will create an account and login to our application, then a user can add his/her own avenue and can create a business page for event planner company if he/she runs one. Then a regular client can search for place of his like to book or can also use location feature to enter kilometers in which he want to book a place so the list will only show avenue in that diameter and event planner to organize that place for him so he can save his time and just go there to attend to function. This system will save a lot of time and give more opportunity and choice of selecting a place. Event planners don’t catch eye’s much but they do a great work by professionally organizing the event place but through this application we are giving them a nice platform to grow their business easily.

 This app will greatly beneficial for clients that will book avenue and event planner through this app.

Project Implementation Method

Application will use MySQL (Database) to save details of admin, management and clients to notify the admin about event details. Need memory 1GB or higher to run perfectly android application in any android supporting mobile and required 300MB space to store and install application. Android 3.2 or higher operating system is used to build and run the application.

3. Admins and the event place manager will have complete details of every client.
4. It will solve issues of time management, capacity issues, menu issues.
