In the project we work for the benefits of consumers and environment. Its uses communications,automation,and computer to improve the flexibility,security,reliability ,efficiency and safety of the system.

In this grid station system designed for the control of individual constituents are autonomous with each other with respect to controlling .This grid station brings over all elements of the electricity system production,delivery and consumption closer together to improve over all system operation for the benefits of consumers to overcome many things like.theft,loadshedding this (PLC Based demand side load management at Grid station) come into picture for mutual benefits of consumers and also for grid station.

Project Objectives

Main objectives of the project would be as under:

1. To design a grid station we should capable to withstand the load

2. To design an un-interrupt supply of power

3. To design grid station for energy efficient

4. To design grid for the control of individual constituents.

5. To improve over all system for the benefit of consumers.

Project Implementation Method

To facilitate the possible technology and demand changes in a renewable energy dominated future energy ,an integrated approach that involves renewable energy RES based generations,cutting edge communication strategies and advanced demand side management essential.

A suitable energy management scheme and integrating renewable energy resources can significaity increses energy efficiency and stability of future grid operations. 

Benefits of the Project

PLC Based demand side load management at Grid station satisfy electricity demand.

This project provide benefits in every prospective like where we see at consumers  side it satisfy the electricity demands of customers ,it reduce the electricity bill which now a days put a lot of burden on customers moreover. It improves life style of customers as well maintain productivity of work.

This gives positive impact on utility side as well like reduce the cost of service . It improve the customers service .and also improves operating  efficiency, flexibility.

The technology  also give us so many societal benefits like reduce environmental  degradation, it conserve resources of society and also protect our global environment.

For Grid design We will follow this collection of data for  load of area to be fed from proposed grid , (will be taken from SEPCO)

1.Comparing bus bar topography and selection Comparing AIS,GIS AND HYBRID GRID design and selection

2. Selection of voltage for  grid station  from IEC standard and using formulas

3. Load flow abd short circuit study on ETAP

4. Selection of busbars using formulas for temperature rise and results from system studies

5.Selection of CT PT using formulas and using IEC standard

6.Selection Circuit breaker using results of short circuit studies

7.Selection of LA

8.Protection system   selection

9.Preparation of BOQ
