The lasers based medical technology is very expensive to diagnose and treat skin diseases. We proposed an image processing-based project to detect skin diseases. The system takes image of disease effected skin area, by using camera.
The system will works on the given inputs of a color image. After that resize the image to extract features using a pretrained convolutional neural network. After that classified feature using Multiclass SVM. Finally, the results are shown to the user, The system successfully detects 3 different types of skin diseases with an accuracy rate of 100%.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to identify skin diseases based on input skin images by using machine learning. The user can early detect the skin disease, They don't have to visit a doctor at first. It can be used by people from all over the world. Some tools and host servers are required to make this system available to all people. So the people can access this system. The user will only need an internet-connected device to access this web system. The web application developed is lightweight and can be used in machines with low system specifications. It has also a simple user interface for the convenience of the user.
Project Implementation MethodTo implement our system. We need a dataset on which we can perform our functionality. The system will help significantly in the detection of 3 diseases.
The whole architecture can be divided into several modules comprising dataset collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification. After we have to build a website or mobile app to make this project available to people. And also need a website-hosted server on which we have to host our website. So the user can publicly access the website by using the internet.
Benefits of the Project- Skin cancer detection system diagnosis different types of skin cancers in Pakistan and people will become more knowledgeable and conscious regarding skin cancers.

Our system is web-based technology which needs computer/mobile device with internet connection to use it. People can upload an image of defected skin area and submit it. System will tell the type of cancer, if any.
Development team required high resolution camera to collect dataset and device with internet connection to program and check system.
