Automated Attendance System (AAS) is a process to automatically estimate the presence or the absence using face recognition technology. In my face recognition project, a computer system will be able to find and recognize human faces fast and precisely in images or videos that are being captured through a surveillance camera. Numerous algorithms and techniques have been developed for improving the performance of face recognition. It will reduce tress passing in the organizations. If an employee is send on a company tour then you can make sure his presence at other campus or site.
The objective of this work is to develop a distributed decentralized attendance marking and management system using multi spectral facial recognition in order to protect sensitive employees’ data generic enough to be used by any organization ranging from educational institute, public sector organizations, factories and safe city authority. This may then be extended with real time sentimental analysis to identify potential threats to society in public.
