At home, an increasing number of individuals have determined to use a stress reliever and meditation application to help them get over this.

The need for mental health application continues to rise every year, particularly in a society where lockdown has become the standard as a result of COVID-19. At home, an increasing number of individuals have determined to use a stress reliever and meditation application to help them get over this. However, given the sensitive nature of the topics addressed by these applications, developing one is not straight forward. In recent years, mental health has been in the forefront of the public’s attention. The epidemic has just added to our already elevated worry levels. According to the research, the proportion of individuals in the United States who suffer from anxiety or depression-related symptoms has risen throughout the pandemic. We will use Machine Learning techniques to forecast two distinct types of activities: physical and mental. The user will get assistance through photos, video, voice, or text. After completing the task, the user will be presented with a brief quiz/feedback. Additionally, the user may use the emotion detection tool to forecast his present emotional state; emotion identification is accomplished via the use of a deep learning system.

Project Objectives

To increase public understanding of the mental health continuum, to minimise burden of mental illness, and to encourage help-seeking behaviours and practises of emotional well-being. Every year, mental diseases impact 19% of the adult population, 46% of adolescents, and 13% of children. Individuals who are battling with their mental health might be found wherever. However, less than half of individuals afflicted obtain medication, often due to the stigma associated with mental illness. Untreated mental illness may result in greater medical costs, worse academic and job performance, decreased career possibilities, and an increased risk of suicide. Our idea is to create an app that will collect data from the user and then offer CBT activities to assist in achieving a more positive mental state. Additionally, the app will have a progress reports tracker that will keep the user informed of his progress and encourage him to use the app on a consistent basis. Additionally, the built-in app awards serve as an additional form of encouragement for the user, keeping him on the go. The chatbot will provide a welcome message or response for the user; it will also assist the user in learning more about the app and bringing the information they are seeking closer to them. We will collect user input and create the forecast using Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms. The task cards will be shown or hidden based on the user’s responses. Fire-base will be utilized for the back-end, which will offer us features such as authentication and cloud storage. Google sign-in services will be integrated into the application’s sign-up module. This allows for the storage and tracking of user data for usage throughout the app. Additionally, we may tailor user recommendations and restrict access to the application as a whole.

Project Implementation Method

The project is focused on developing a mental health tracking system. You will attempt to ascertain your user’s mental state (in the least invasive manner possible), ascertain if they are suffering, and then propose methods they might do to alleviate their current situation. A consumer answers a series of questions, and depending on their responses, you recommend activities to them and keep track of their mental condition. This software has the potential to cause a movement if people become aware of its advantages, since it may help prevent a variety of health problems. Mental health problems are the top cause of mortality in all nations, from the poorest to the wealthiest and most developed. Around 20% of teenagers (10 to 19 years old) are thought to have a mental health condition. Through the development of mental health apps, innovation has aided in the reduction of the stigma associated with psychiatric disorders

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable of " Mental Health Improving (CARE)" will be an android based application along with a documentation manual having all the technical details of the application. It will be developed in React Native along with the Firebase database. We will develop a python API that we will integrate with our android application. The application will be compatible with android API version 21 and above.
