Lift Droid

Lift Droid will be a robot that has a hand and powerful base for his movement. Android device will control his movement and his arm for lifting items. It will look like crawler excavator but will be controlled by a mobile. As its name is explaining it will lift small items from one place to another arm will be used as a lifter and Tank base will work as legs.
It is for a demonstration how can we automate any kind of machinery into a robotic control able system and can attach them with a very strong computer like an android. That can further raise its working to high levels by adding AI into it.

Project Objectives

Project objectives are to develop a system that can provide a powerful mind like android to machines. Lift Droid will act like a crawler excavator it will be attached with an android system controlling different modules like

- 6 Servos (For hand)
- 2 Gear Motors (For Movement)
- Ultrasonic Sensor (For Distance)
- LEDs Buzzer

Major Component to be developed:

  • Software - Android Application 
  • Hardware - Circut (Design & Deployment) Physical Assembly

Hardware Implementation
     Initially, the circuit design and testing will be done using Proteus after that circuit will be assembled over are Vero board at then end whole connections will be done using Solder & for protection glue gun will be used to add glue on them.

Software
     Android Studio will be used to develop an android app. Main features of the anroid app 

  • Bluetooth Control Module (For Connection)
  • Joy Stick Controller (For Movement)
  • Sliders Controllers (For Arm)

     

Benefits of the Project

It is for a demonstration how can we automate any kind of machinery into a robotic control able system and can attach them with a very strong computer like an android. That can further raise its working to high levels by adding AI into it.

This system will provide developers a very clean view of controlling machinery like cars, buses or heavyweight machinery and attaching them with an external mind and boost its working. I choose crawler excavators so it will demonstrate two parts

Movement (Tank Chassis)

Arm

This will provide a very good explanation of attaching hardware with software to rise hardware working to next levels.
