Nowadays, with the development of the wide utilization of the Internet,
clocks would now have the option to synchronize with central servers and
long-range remote advances, making it achievable for remote devices to
synchronize their time.

In modern era large scale clocks are widely used in large buildings such
as schools universities and shopping malls etc.

We are going to design large scale clock having smart features in it. So,
the question arises - what is a smart device? A smart device is an
electronic device, generally connected to other devices or networks via
different wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.

Our hybrid clock is controlled by using an android app, and clock having both
analog and digital display along with temperature display.

Project Objectives

Large scale smart clocks have high demand in market. Though they are
already available but with less features and options. Our aim is to design
a clock with more options and updated software using programming. As
it is physically very large to handle manually so we are using modern
technology to control it by using android app with Bluetooth connectivity.

In old clocks it was very time consuming task to set it. Our clock will be
set in real time using Bluetooth.

When we compare the features of Hybrid clocks, there
were times when Analog was the better choice, but in
modern era Hybrid clock are more efficient So, how
about combining both the ideas into one and overcome
their limitations? But what are the actual limitations that
one can witness in normal clocks along with few advance
clocks are as follows:

•It does not have better readability in dark rooms or
when light intensity is low.

•Accuracy level is way too low due to minute and second
hands.

•It does not provide wireless connectivity with any other
devices. It has got a static watch face, which gets boring
with time.

Project Implementation Method

We are going to design large scale clock having smart features in it. So,
the question arises - what is a smart device? A smart device is an

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Thus the front end of the clock will be analogue and digital while the
back end will be programmed using Arduino uno, i.e. the time keeper
will be digital, therefore a hybrid clock both having digital time
accuracy and beautifying looks of analogue clock. In order to display in
night strips will be installed in needles so that they can glow to be
beautiful and visible.
