Intelligent Recovery of Patients on Road Accidents in ITS incorporating Fog Computing
Due to traffic accident on the road, more than 1.25 million people suffer from a lack of life each year. 20 to 50 million people face disabilities due to serious contact of an external force during accidents.
The road users must know about factors that helps us in determining the much time need to react to a road accident and also to help emergency teams in response to the accidents.
There are extensive researches to improve health care systems into networks, sensors, the devices used in medical fields, their communications and the software. We’ve proposed a model which will help in rescuing traffic accident patients efficiently. I will also alert the paramedical staff in ambulance and nearby hospitals. Provision of sensor network (based on RSU and FOG) information includes accident complexity status information and its location to the near hospital and ambulance for rescuing. Decision Making Unit will alert the related elements about the incident by alarming them. After receiving the ambulances, a medical center can be located at a short distance and instructed to rescue the individuals effected in an accident. So that emergency arrangements can be made on time in the hospitals before the arrival of patients which will also help us in time saving. Data Distribution Service (DDS), RSU and Fog techniques will be used.
Fog Computing comes under the umbrella of Internet of things (IOT). IOT has created a unique volume and a categories of data. And Cloud did not allow real time analysis. In the Cisco white paper, IT professionals and operators, describes a model and works on IOT data. Its goal is:
1) Time-sensitive data is analyzed locally at network edge instead of sending it to cloud.
2) Efficiently process the policy-based IOT data.
3) Cloud then receives the data selected and kept it for long term storage and historical analysis.
Objectives:
Propose a Framework, protocol for responsive rescuing.
•The design of a new protocol/ model for rescuing people in road side accidents on time and, hence, reduction in death.
•To decide the best optimized route for ambulance to rescue from initial location of the ambulance to the accident location and to the hospital.
•To give alternate route option to ambulance too traffic jams on the road that may cause delay in reaching hospital.
•To assist rescue team to reach a destination on time.
•To inform relative of patients.
•To minimize the delay in rescuing of patients and take them to hospital
