Project Objectives

The objectives of this project is to make an Android Application that provide a 3D image of a hotel rooms and dining areas using augmented reality so that the tourists can survey the place even before visiting it and choose the option which suits them best.

Project Implementation Method

In this Project, Flutter Framework will be used to make application using Dart Language, Augmented Reality coding will be done on Unity. Maya ,3D Max and Photoshop will be used to create 3D models.

Benefits of the Project

AR technology has been applied to a wide range of fields: tourism, entertainments, marketing, surgery, logistics, manufacturing, maintenance and others [1]. Augmented reality is a 3D technology which merges the physical and digital worlds in real time. The first is image- or maker-based AR, which requires recognition of a marker or specific object to bring up digital information; the second is location-based AR, which makes use of a device’s GPS to identify locations at which computer-generated information should be superimposed [2]. The ‘Pokémon Go’ mobile app is a well-known example where users catch virtual creatures projected over the real-world as viewed through a smartphone. Applications such as virtual mirrors (screens where consumers can see themselves wearing virtual clothes); furniture planners (apps that allow you to see furniture in your home [3].
