Smaller engines are used for charging or for warning signals on vessels or canoes. The sale of unused force to the state supplier by the force network helps Bigger turbines to undertake contributions to the homegrown provision of force. The approach of large turbines, the so-called wind farms, has become a critical source of renewables. Many countries use this method to minimize their reliance on oil derivatives as part of a scheme. Only the direct current is the real component. In this project, a wind turbine uses wind energy and transforms it into a generator. This powerful wind turbine uses wind power generated by motor vehicles and transforms power. Electricity is converted by the DC producer into energy. The inverter converts direct current to alternating current and is used for domestic machinery operation. The energy created by wind turbines due to the rapid movement of vehicles on the road is effectively regulated by IOT from the base station.

Project Objectives

The principal goal is to use a high wind power from highway vehicles and monitor the parameters of turbine. Unused and visible air is used to operate a wind turbine directly to produce electrical energy through the kinetic energy of wind. An rise in disruption suggests that wind speed and direction have decreased significantly. In comparison to the horizontal axis (HAWT), horizontal axis air absorbs the turbulent winds characteristic of metropolitan areas with success. A vertical air mill with a high production capacity is being installed. The purpose of our project is to develop and design an air turbine with low-cutting materials that are readily available, such as rotating ball rollers, semi-circular PVC rotors and more. In order to keep it in good condition and take into account costs and the security of the system, this wind turbine is designed to absorb full wind power in any direction. This machine is capable ofgenerating a significant amount of usable electrical energy in large amounts. This energy can be stored and transported to surrounding countryside where electricity needs can be met. The conception leads us to analyze various aspects such as output, monitoring through IOT sound and cost, which lead us to our additional objective of system analysis in order to solve common technical problems. The design of a small wind turbine which is easily produced and mounted on all main power supplies requires a description of the project. Internet of things is a very hot topic in modern technology. This was the basic motivation behind our project.

Project Implementation Method

We had started from planning. After completion of proposal we started our project from literature review of research papers. Now we have to implement the project.

We will have to purchase the components required for project. Main components include DC generator, material for making blades of turbine, batteries, solar panel, solar charger convertor, wind charger convertor, microcontroller for IOT monitoring, anemometer, tthermometer, multimeters etc.

WORKING

Highway wind turbine will be placed in the center of highway. According to traffic rules a road has 3 sections depending on speed of vehicle.

Slow speed lane, medium speed lane and fast speed lane. Vehicle in every lane has different effect on turbine depending upon speed and distance from turbine. 

As the air pushed from vehicle strikes the blades of turbine, the blades start rotating along its axis. This rotation causes the electricity production in generator.

This energy can be directly use for traffic lights and Inverter can change this electricity to DC for storage in battery.

For continuous electricity generation we will add a solar panel on the top of frame of wind turbine, it will boost up the output.

A single car moving on highway will cause rotation of all turbines installed along that highway.

IOT will give us a complete monitoring of the applied sensors.

Benefits of the Project

1. Our main focus was renewable energy sources. Fossil fuels are running out day-by-day. Future technology will be based on renewable energy sources. Electric cars is a very smart example. Tesla is giving a big hit to the vehicle market.

2. Trending electric cars will have charging points on highways. And energy in batteries of turbine will charge the cars. 

3. The advantage of this model is that air from any compass (direction) can be absorbed by rotor blades.

4. To eliminate the tower structures and increase the overall weight of the assembly unit, the machine can be pushed lower to ground level. A big benefit is that the production of electricity is environmentally friendly.

5. The system has a vertical measure, so that its rotor absorbs the air power, eliminates the need to control the layout. The supporting of the dual use and easy shaft axis and the generation of ground level power due to the presence of direct search are anticipated. This can also make it easy to navigate and run.

6. This model takes less wind power and lower costs as opposed to the horizontal form of the same power generation.

7. Wind turbines with horizontal axis provide more benefits than wind turbines with horizontal axis. It is also much slower than horizontal axis versions, as is the vertical axis wind turbine that gain higher power in areas with strong wind. Horizontal wind turbines are therefore working well on the roof of the building, making them particularly useful in urban and suburban areas.

8. The system has been designed to operate on a low speed level and corresponds to the middle plane and the chord with corresponding characters. The blades are carefully inserted. Using a repair device to focus on the edges of the main rotor sounds of each instrument.

VAWTs, however, have many advantages over HAWT. 

9. IOT will give a complete monitoring of parameters. It depends on our budget that how much sensors we applied in our project.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are trying to purpose an idea of IOT. China is fastest country that uses IOT in a number of fields.

Technical details are as following:

Turbine will generate electricity from any direction of air.

We will apply a number of sensors such as temperature sensor, anemometer, multimeter etc.

Quality of monitoring will depend of number of sensors, directly propotional to budget.

This model takes less wind power and lower costs as opposed to the horizontal form of the same power generation.

We will apply solar panel to have continous generation of electricity. It will prevent from blackout of our field of turbines
