Project Summary

DocScout is based on a Healthcare platform specifically developed for global healthcare markets. The new limitations for, hospitals and healthcare providers are moving towards digital platforms for healthcare services and patient assistance. Services include booking and comparing lab tests, scheduling home nursing services, appointments with local physicians, and access to expert physicians for a second opinion.  

DocScout help patient with online appointment booking for doctors, and home nursing staff along with many other features, it is hard for a patient to know the timing of any particular doctor in your area or to know any particular doctor’s availability. A patient can learn about any particular doctor’s bio based on experience, and qualification, The long queues at doctor clinics and hospitals make it hard for patients to visit. DocScout help users connect with the top service on its digital system and provide access to doctors and patient for their convenience. 

Patients can rate service quality and personal experience for an appointment with doctors and home nursing staff and their staff after the services are availed, which helps other patients to select or book rated doctors and home nursing staff.

With DocScout, you get instant doctor appointment confirmations as well as reminders. 

The combination of increasing global smartphone penetration and Machine learning (ML), helps identify patterns in data. ML can transform healthcare epidemiology, providing examples of successful applications and the recent advancement in computer vision made it possible for smartphone-assisted healthcare services. The algorithm learns to map from a set of covariates of data to the outcome. This part is performed on the training data. Once learned, this mapping can be applied to new test data for identification or prediction tasks once learned.  A machine-learning algorithm is used to predict the current scenario of the categorical dependent variable through the use of predictor variables. It is often used for classifying and predicting the probability of an event.

DocScout will let discover allopathic, homeopathic, and eastern medical doctors and book the top doctors according to their rating, fees, schedule timing, and book in-person appointments. The project does include home nursing servicing staff for the required patient. Through this application, the relationship between doctors and patient becomes come well.

Project Objectives

The DocScout project will meet the following objectives: 

• Provide availability and rating of allopathic, homeopathic, and herbal eastern medicine doctors.
• Provide Online Doctor appointment booking
• Provide better Coordination between Doctor and Patient          
• To help maintain the social distancing by Tele clinic.
• Suggest doctors and home nursing staff to the patients by location and rating.
• Provide doctor’s availability, location, specialization, and fee Information online.
• Approved and registered doctors can connect to the system.
• Reduce the cost and effort to know the availability, specialization, and rating and to make appointments with a specific doctor.
• Doctors and home nursing staff are rated for their services by patients after service is availed.

Project Implementation Method

DocScout aims to enable patients to get more accurate information of doctors. For this purpose doctor’s data will be gathered not only from allopathic but homeopathic, and eastern medicine. For this high volume of data cloud services will be needed to extract valuable insights.   Machine Learning algorithms will be used to rate the doctor’s performance. A machine-learning algorithm is used to predict the current ranking and reviews scenario of the doctors and home nursing staff through the use of predictor variables, which are often used for classifying and predicting the probability of an event.

• Collecting data for doctors of allopathic, homeopathic, and eastern medicines and their related diseases.
• Collection of data for home nursing services through web scraping or manually.
• Collection of data for laboratories and their requirements through web scraping. d. Collection of data for hospitals.
• Data for multiple payment gateways.
• Rating data to be trained by machine learning algorithms.
• Need Patients, Doctors, and home nursing organization information for their authorization.

1. Identify the advanced features to make the workflow smarter 
2. Prototype - UI of mobile application and web application. 
3. Development - Design and develop modules for mobile applications and websites based on defined requirements.
4. Database completion - A traditional Database is created and implemented in mobile applications and websites.
5. Machine learning algorithm – A Rating machine learning algorithm to be implemented for rating doctors and home nursing staff.
6. To process a high volume of data GPU is required.
7. Networking card used for, compatible with 10/5/2.5/1Gbps and 100Mbps, for seamless backward compatibility and working on Windows 10.
8. Testing - QA (Quality Assurance) testing, internal and external training, documentation development.
9. Delivery – Mobile application and website with the integrated dataset, user interface, and deliver the working iteration into production.
10. Feedback - Accept feedback and work it into the requirements of the next iteration.

11. DocScout is a web-based online application available on all major browsers and a mobile application. DocScout will be user-friendly on all usual devices (PC, mobile, tablet).     

 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

DocScout project will provide a mobile application and website which include:

• List of Allopathic, Homeopathic, and Eastern medicines doctors. 
• A portal that provides doctors accessibility by their rating, specialization, the type of diseases they deal with, experience, qualifications, and location.
• It enables the new feature of home nursing, in which patients can adapt to home nursing services and organizations can place their services. 
• It encourages patients to get appointments and is easily concerned with the nearest doctors.
• Patients can search for the laboratories, compare their fees and look for their important requirements. 
• Only registered doctors can enroll. 
• Users can use the DocScout application on both, mobile application and website with details once entered by signing up or login application.
• Administrator approves, cancels, or updates the appointment booking and looks for other information.
• System administrator approves doctors and home nursing services provider registration requests.
• DocScout application will give you dual combined works in a single application.
