Health has been a very significant part of everyone’s lives, though it has changed the means through which we can keep a check on it. The healthcare environment has been changing dramatically due to the innovations in technology. There have been multiple attempts at bridging the gap between the doctor and patient, and especially in a country like Pakistan such innovations are much needed. Some of  factor that influence the healthcare facilities for Patient cooperation , Right domain knowledge for every type of patient ,good healthcare system, Knowledge of severity of illness.We are trying to develop such mobile application that provide a mutual communication platform for finding the right doctor for you. As we know we all face difficult in finding doctor it may be surgeon or domain specialist for treatment we prefer one or two know specialist because we do not have any source to find nearby specialist and surgeon

Project Objectives

As we know that health is an essential part of everyone life but people having less awareness of utilizing the healthcare facilities in the city. As we know there are multiple platform that offer online shopping and online food services in an order to facilities the people. When it come online health platform to connect with doctor and hospital. Like it is one of the common issues that we do not have good awareness about the list of specialists are nearby us. We only know some famous hospital name that provide the services of domain specialist doctor which may cause difficult for someone to know that which doctor is available nearby them or which doctor is available for treatment.

Doctify App will bring changes to the healthcare applications, it will facilitate patients and doctors that will act as a bridge between them. All of the problems that were previously being faced for not being able to make appointments with specialized doctors and app crashes etc. will be overcome. People will find their nearest available specialists according to their needs, getting themselves registered and booking themselves an appointment. This mobile application will be developed on Android Studio and hopefully help us reach our objectives. Doctify app help communication improving between patients and hospital. It provides patient to find specialist nearby them. It helps patient view list of specialist and surgeon in an order to book online appointment.

Project Implementation Method

Doctify app enables a user to get authorized as a Patient, Hospital / Clinic Management, Application Admin. The access will be granted to the user according to the kind of user they are.

• Signup: User are able to create an account to be an authenticate user
• Login: The system will be authenticated by valid login credentials.
• Search: Patient will be able to search doctor /specialist through current nearby location as well as manually entered location and System will allow patients to view a list of specialists nearby them respective to their clinic or hospital.
• View OPD: System will allow patient to view update OPD timing
• Recent Appointment: System allow user to view recent/new appointment.
• Book Appointment: System Allow user to book online appointment
• Medical History: System will allow user to view their health history though patient profile.
• Feedback: System allow patient to provide feedback
• Set OPD /Set Specialist list: System allows hospitals to manage specialist list, OPD timing.

Benefits of the Project

Most of the people usually visit doctors in hospitals/clinics they already know about. If they want to visit a certain specialist, they may have to call in hospitals to know about the number of specialists, their experience and finally decide to make an appointment. We will develop such an app that will provide people with information while standing at their current location. This app will then allow you to browse and book from all the nearby locations of doctors at their respective clinic/hospitals.

In order to improve the quality of healthcare, the doctor and patient will be facilitated through minimizing the gap between them. We will introduce them to an app where a person can find a suitable doctor at the nearest location. To ensure that we provide a better and effective way for everyone to find themselves a doctor nearest to them which is both specialized and experienced, which will just be one touch away from them. People who are unable to make appointments easily these days will be availing benefits through this app. People do not need to make calls in other hospitals for appointments, this will be easily done through our application.

User:

• Users of the application are able to perform login according to their type.
• Users of the system can create their account by signing up.

Patient:

• Patients are able to search doctors nearby them according to their need by using search filters such as; specialist or surgeon.
• Patients are able to provide and view their medical history.
• Patients can book online appointments through the application.
• Patients are able to search through current location as well as manually entered location.
• Patients are able to use sehat card facility.
• Patients are able to provide feedback.
• Patients can call on the helpline number.

Hospital:

• Hospitals can update the specialist and surgeon list.
• Hospitals can manage the OPD timings.
• Hospitals can confirm the booked appointment through the application.
