Project Area of Specialization Mechanical EngineeringProject SummaryA CNC machine will be designed and manufactured under this project to automatically carve wood. This
machine will allow drill bit to move in X, Y and Z direction to remove material from the raw wood and
convert it to the final product. This machine will use a CAD model that will be developed through specialized
modeling software packages i.e. SolidWorks® and CREO®. GM codes will be then extracted using power
shape, power mill, or other specialized software and will be feed into the CNC machine. The machine will
use that codes as a guide and will move the cutter accordingly to impart the design of the CAD model into a
wood. Arduino will be used to decode the GM codes and move the drill bit accordingly.

a conceptual are proposed initially and compared with each other using different factors. a most feasible conceptual design is selected. A CAD model was developed with proper dimensions. in the next stage a CNC machine will fabricate after that testing of the machine will be carried out to ensure proper working and accuracy of the machine. a Solidworks software will be used for designing a model and will be inserted into the GBRL software and return the software will give the gm codes of the model and then feed into the machine and the final product is obtained.
