DESIGN OF WATER GARBAGE COLLECTING ROBOT
Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryThe project is selected on the basis of the current situation of our rivers, canals puddles and drains etc. which are dump with many liters of sewage and loaded with pollutants, toxic materials etc. River water is used for irrigation which in return gives food to the people. They also maintain the ecology of region and bring prosperity. We made this project to clean the river. After implementing this project we can control the pollution of river it is very beneficial for our society. In this project we will fabricate the remote operated river cleaning robot. The main aim of the project is to reduce the man power, time consumption for cleaning the river. In this project we will automate the operation of river cleaning with help of a motor and chain drive arrangement. We will use RF transmitter and receiver or Wi-Fi module to control the trash collecting Robot.
Project Objectives- To reduce the man power.
- To reduce the water pollution and overcome the difficulty of removing garbage from water surface.
- To protect ourselves from many diseases and protect the marine lives by reducing the water pollution.
- To perform the fast & reliable operation during collection of waste material from Rivers.
In this project we have used the bldc motors to generate thurst in water and for conveyor mechanism we have used the gear motor along with motor driver circuit the DC gear motor has high torque and low speed. We have used the ESC(electronics speed controller0 module to control the speed of brushless DC motor and we have used relay module also to change the direction of BLDC motors. In this project we have used the two Arduino uno microcontroller and two HC-12 RF module one module is used as transmitter and the other is used as reciever to control the robot remotely. we have used solar pannel and li-po batteries as a supply.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefit of the project is that it will reduce the man power as well as reduce the pollution and by collecting water garbage with the help of this robot will reduce many diseases because in Pakistan there is no such arrangments for the collection of water garbage, most of the people collect the garbage by hands that can cause many diseases so if we will use this robot or implement this project at higher level so it will be far better for our society.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn this project we have used different equipments that are given below;
BLDC MOTORS are used to generate thusrt in water
ESC MODULES are used which is an electronic circuit that controls and regulates the speed of an electric motor. It may also provide reversing of the motor and dynamic braking.
RELAY MODULE is used for switching.
L298 H-Bridge module is used as motor driver
Arduino Unois used which is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs and 6 can be used as analog inputs), a 16 MHz resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an in-circuit system programming (ICSP) header, and a reset button.
RADIO FREQUENCY(HC12) modules are used, one is used as a transmitter and other is used as a reciever. HC12 - 433MHz Long Range RF. HC-12 wireless serial port communication module is a new-generation multichannel embedded wireless data transmission module. Its wireless working frequency band is 433.4-473.0MHz, multiple channels can be set, with the stepping of 400 KHz, and there are totally 100 channels.
Solar pannel is used to charge the battries we have used lithium polimer battries in our project.
