RC Ornithopter:
It is a Mechanical Flying Bird That exactly depicts the flying motion of a bird.The main purpose of Ornithopters is the camouflage that they bring, as while flying with the flock of birds it is very difficult to spot them.
We are imitating the Booted eagle characteristics and will keep the dimensions of the bird.
The main components of our RC Ornithopter are:

Battery and motor
ERC
Main structure design
Wing design
Tail design
The main objective of our project is To depict the Booted eagle and its characteristics in our RC Ornithopter.
The application of it will be useful in Area mapping,Wildlife spying, by the military also for spying purposes
The following are the steps that will be followed in Making of our RC Ornithopter:
The main components of our project are the selection of battery,motor as they will provide the Driving force , After there selection we will calculate the gear ratios for our Gears to reduce the RPM of the motor to the required RPM we require for our Ornithopter to fly that is 7.0 Flaps per second(FPS) for our 1.2m Wingspan Ornithopter
After getting this achieved we will design the Airfoils in our Wing structure The material we will be using in there manufacturing are PETG. we are using the NACA 64A012 Airfoil due to its characteristics. After going through several research papers this was selected.
Then comes the design of the Airfoils and gears on the softwares Creo and Ansys for the analysis.
After this the design of tail will begin.
At the end The coding will be done On the ERC to make it radio control and the installation of the camera will be made.
This project will be a great benefit for Wildlife department, Area mapping companies and the military for spying purposes.
