Water pollution is one of the biggest threats for the green globalization. Water quality, faces a huge challenge because of global warming, limited water resources, growing population, etc.In the present scenario, water parameters are detected through equipment placed at laboratory. Thus, it is a manual process and is highly time consuming.
So we have been designing a Water Quality Monitor which is an electronic circuitry which will measure the quality parameters of water in real time and instantaneously display the values on LCD as well as on Web Page.
The basic aim of this project is to Design and Implement a Water Quality Monitor based on Internet Of Things (IOT).The system will automatically detect the water quality parameters such as turbidity, pH level, Temperature and Conductivity by using various sensors and resultant data will be displayed as well as analyzed via written program.
This advanced level Water Quality Monitor will work keeping in view four parameters that are turbidity, pH level, Temperature and Conductivity. By using specific sensor for each parameter, information about the water quality is provided to the controller or processor unit.
The processor or controller unit will measure the obtained values of parameters.After the measurement of values, they will be sent to the LCD Module for display.
Similarly the measured values of parameters are also displayed on WebPage. User can have access to data in real time.
The moment water is detected polluted, we'll be alereted by system using alarms also the supply of water will be discontinued by using solenoid valves.
This project can revolutionalize filtration plants by having a check on them whether these plants are actually purifying water or not. It will check and monitor the performance continuously.
It can be used for Municipal Drinking Water and Industrial Process Water.
For maintaining and keeping the record of water quality parameters for security purpose.
It can be used in pools or in industrial boilers.
Water Quality Monitor comprises of a system which will take water samples as input. those samples will be analyzed by our system and updated to the user through LCD and WebPage. Upon any discrepency in water quality parameters alarms will be generated and supply of water will be cutoff isntantly.
