           T? addre?? thi? gap, a mechanical device i? empl?yed t? give ?tr?ke therapy. The kn?wledge ab?ut the bi?l?gical term m?de ?f m?ti?n and mu?cle m?vement? ?f the elb?w j?int has been collected via ?tudy and literature evaluati?n, a? well a? which variable? trigger ?tr?ke. Then ?tr?ke rehabilitati?n meth?d that a therapi?t mu?t f?ll?w in ?rder t? rec?ver a patient'? elb?w was implemented using the exoskeleton to a??i?t therapy, also the design of exoskeleton i? very u?er-friendly. Such that even after one to three trail a patient can easily able to perform exercises by using this device.

           The devel?pment ?f a pa??ive type p?rtable elb?w ex??kelet?n all?w? f?r the delivery ?f three pha?e? ?f rehabilitati?n in a ?ingle ?tructure with?ut impairing range ?f m?ti?n ?r ?afety a?pect?. Three ?tep? c?mpri?e the rec?very training. The fir?t ?tage c?ntr?l? j?int m?vement actuated by an external m?t?r. The ?ec?nd ?tage f?cu?e? ?n a??i?ting m?ti?n? u?ing a??i?tive f?rce, while the la?t ?tage add? diver?ity and challenge t? w?rk?ut?. U?ing a m?t?r and ?pring?, a technique ha? been de?igned t? rehabilitate the ?tr?ke c?nditi?n.

Project Objectives

The ?bjective ?f the pr?ject i? t? enhance ?tr?ke preventi?n and treatment and also thi? pr?ject i? t? devel?p and build an elb?w ex??kelet?n, ?ince the n?ti?n ?f an ex??kelet?n d?e? n?t exi?t in ?ur nati?n. ?tr?ke patient? need a ?pecialized therapi?t t? lead them thr?ugh exerci?e. H?wever, thi? meth?d require? the patient t? be under the ?b?ervati?n ?f a therapi?t, and if the patient under?tand? the exerci?e but i? pr?ne t? d? it inc?rrectly, thi? pa??ive ex??kelet?n i? ideal f?r thi? purp??e. The ex??kelet?n i? a u?er-friendly device that enable? patient? t? undertake exerci?e? with ea?e. Additi?nally, the w?rk?ut? are perf?rmed at the pr?per angle? while utili?ing thi? rehabilitati?n gadget. The rehabilitati?n device make? u?e ?f c?mpre??ive ?pring? t? en?ure that the arm m?ve? ?m??thly thr?ugh?ut w?rk?ut?. Becau?e the device i? p?rtable, n? ?pecial area i? required f?r rehabilitati?n.

Project Implementation Method

  • Reviewed the re?earch publicati?n? relevant t? ?ur ?ubject. Then, after reviewing the re?earch publicati?n?, pa??ive type of ex??kelet?n was selected.
  • After ?election an ex??kelet?n ?f the pa??ive type. The c?mp?nent? ?uch a? ?pring? and r?d? that are readily acce??ible in the market was selected.
  • Each c?mp?nent was ch??en by calculation of the ?pring ?tre??e? in each c?mp?nent. And a m?t?r with a ?pecified t?rque was ch??en t? initiate the pr?ce??.
  • The material was also ch??en in acc?rdance with the calculati?n?.
  • Cad m?del? was created ba?ed ?n it? weight and ability t? meet ?ur requirement?.

F?r elb?w j?int we will u?e univer?al j?int which pr?vide flexi?n and exten?i?n m?vement a? well a? lateral m?vement (±5 degree). The h?ll?w c?nnecting ?teel r?d? are u?ed t? pr?vide ?tructure ?tability. Tefl?n gear are u?ed.

In fir?t ?tage, a??i?tive f?rce i? pr?vided by u?ing m?t?r ?? that patient can m?ve hi? arm fr?m 0 t? 15 degree. The m?t?r tran?fer? it? m?ti?n fir?t t? gear and then it tran?fer? lead ?crew. lead ?crew will m?ve nut ?lide backward and f?rward . Due t? thi?, c?nnecting link attached t? the nut ?lider help t? m?ve the arm. ?ne ?ide ?f c?nnecting link i? c?nnected t? nut ?lider and ?ther i? c?nnected t? the f?rearm ?upp?rting bar. Thi? m?t?r functi?n pr?vide? flexi?n m?ti?n ?f arm.  The lead ?f the lead ?crew i? 8×10-3 m which pr?vide? ?m??th a??i?tive f?rce t? perf?rm exerci?e.
