The problem that needs to be coped up is the delay in saving a life. In a serious car crash, the health of the driver is on top of the priority list. Usually when there is an accident, the victim is either in his conscience or totally unconscious. In this situation, it is important to make sure that the unconscious or seriously injuredperson is taken to the hospital or any dispensary without any delay, as every second counts. This delay can cost the life of the injured person. In such scenarios, after an accident, it takes 5-10 minutes for someone to report the accident to an ambulance service, even after reporting, there is no guarantee that the service will reach on time with proper medical equipment. Furthermore, there is no basic information of the victim, such as name, age, blood group, medical history or emergency contact etc. which can cause hassle while transporting the victim to the hospital. Having basic knowledge of the victim can be helpful for the services and also the family members can be notified about the incident and the victim.
The main objective of this project is to provide assistance to the injured person in a car crash. The general information of the driver will be stored in the database, which will help the ambulance service to take necessary precautions. Furthermore, it will inform the emergency contact immediately after the crash. The ambulance service can find the nearest hospital to save the time.
The above mentioned problems will be dealt by installing an Arduino sensor (ESP32). The sensor will work android application through stable internet connection. The sensor will generate an alarm to check if the victim is conscious or unconscious and if it needs further assistance through android app. The firebase (a live database which will be connected with the application) will be used to connect with android application, to store in general information of the user. The Google Map API will be used to find the nearest hospital by the ambulance module. The emergency contact will be notified through GMS system and the ambulance can also connect to the emergency contact by victim’s profile. To provide more assistance, the ambulance will have the victim’s data beforehand.
This project aids in finding a solution for one of the major problems. We have taken a way out to cater seriously injured people in car crash. This project will lessen the human interaction and bring ease to the injured person. Moreover, the user can also book an ambulance in general. The software consists of many unique features that can be quite helpful.
We provide this service through sensors that will connect to driver’s phone via internet. This will help to communicate with the ambulance services through internet in a unique way. With the help of android application, the signals generated will automatically connect with the service and most importantly with the emergency contact.
