Project Summary

“BLOOM GREEN” is a computerized version of plantation campaign System.and also has extra features in which the people can request for plants through an android application. This embedded application also provides the facility to view botanical information with images, benefits of plants, herbal medicines names and description, research on plants, current location of user and green points and people will also remain up to date with environmental changes. People can view nearest green point on the map.  People can set the reminder for the watering of plants and also view weather of that day and next 5 days. This application allows the users (volunteer) to complain to the ministry against deforestation or any kind of discrimination in plantation campaign. People can view status of their plants request and also view status of complaint. Green points can add plants record, approved/disapproved user request. Ministry of Environment can view the all records of green point and view plants request record which is categorize on monthly basis and also deal with volunteer’s complaint

Project Objectives

• By developing this application, we want to replace the manual system of plantation campaign into computerized system.  
• Realizing the people, the importance of plants.  
• Educating people about plants, their medicinal and herbal properties.  
• Raising voice against deforestation through our app.  
• Keep the users update with weather.  
• Overcome on Global warming issue.  
• Enable the users to complain against green points if they found any kind of discrimination in plantation campaign.  

Project Implementation Method

The proposed system will be keep plant’s record by using an android mobile phone. The system will facilitate the volunteer to view the nearest green points on the map and jump to green point activity and make a request for plants. The system will also facilitate the volunteer by providing to opportunity for view weather updates, view botanical information, set reminder, view awareness, register complaint to ministry and view research and also view status of their complaint and plant request. Only admin can add and delete green points and create a ministry profile. Ministry add research, view plant record list and response to the complaint. Green points will add plant record, delete plant record and update plant record and also set reminder for inspection
