Automatic Speed Control
The main reason behind developing this project is to avoid accident of vehicles at speed limit zones and also to help the passengers to cross the road safely without facing any danger from high speed vehicles. Normally, the vehicle drivers not consider the passengers who crosses road in speed limited areas and drive their vehicles at high speed. So, now accidents are increasing in these areas. The traffic police control the traffic but they are not able to avoid the accidents completely. To solve this problem we developed the proposed system, which not interrupts the vehicle drivers and controls the speed of the vehicles up to certain limit in these speed restricted zones. Here, we review a model based on NRF technology. We have one transmitter device which is placed in that specified region and a receiver device which is placed inside your vehicle. When vehicle enter in that specified region a signal is received by the receiver and display it with a beep that speed limit in that specified region is that. We also have a ultrasonic sensor which indicates if a vehicle hit from behind.
The main objective of this project is to provide a fully automatic and flexible system.
It monitor the speed of a vehicle and regulate it according to their region.
Phase-1
To design NRF module:
In this mode we use the NRF module in which we have a transmitter and a receiver that send a frequency signal of speed that is receive by vehicle.
Phase-II
Vehicle checker mode:
in this mode the receiver received the frequency and compare this speed with the the current speed if it is overspeed then it genrates the beep which indicates the speed.
Phase-III
Speed control:
In this mode we sense the distance and according to distance we indicate speed of vehicle and display in lcd.
As we have used in our project (Automatic speed control of vehicle in speed limit zone) ECU – Electronic Control Unit that can be fit in the Vehicles dashboard and also it display the information to the vehicle and tells the driver about the zone and the speed limitation of that specific zone. We use NRF module which is used for wireless data transfer. Electronic display module which is used for display. We use stepper motor which converts electrical pulses into discrete mechanical movements. We use power supply which provides power supply to entire system.
