"Sports play an essential role in the lives of young people." Participation in sports should be encouraged since it plays a vital role in the development of mental health and fitness of the body. Sports promote many good habits in adults, which also include the development of communication skills and the advancement of social behavior.
All educational institutes are required to promote sports and hold competitions. The purpose of sports at this level is the training of mind and body so that adults can stay physically fit and content in their environment. The objective of the Pakistan University Sports Board (PUSB) is to promote and improve healthy physical activity for our society, nation, and the world community. All educational institutes have a sports department for this purpose, and with the help of PUSB, it organizes Intervarsity Championships for the students and provides them a platform for participation at National and International levels.
Management of a sports department can be a challenging task despite the population of participants. The administration needs to manage all aspects, whether it be sports activities, teams, and athletes, scheduling of tournaments, training and statistics, and performance records. The administration is also required to manipulate the data in logical formats, which is a daunting task. The objective of our research is to develop a system that can automate sports management activities and provide facilities to promote sports activities.

Project Objectives

• To design a system to facilitate in sports management activities.
• To provide a method for dynamic scheduling of events.
• To produce a method for finding and pairing with opponents.
• To generate player performance statistics to facilitate decision making.
• To provide a mechanism for finding and displaying information related to sports events.

Project Implementation Method

Project has been implemented using Python Django framework for the web interface of the sports institute adminstration and Andriod Mobile Application for the players

Benefits of the Project

• Efficiently schedule tournaments, team and player games by applying Machine learning techniques.
•  To maintain records of tournaments as well as players score and number of matches they played.
•  Generate rating of players based on activity.
•  To provide a consolidated view of statistics for administration. 
• To provide recommendations for opponent player on the basis of his performance.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Server will be required for hosting the database. An external hard disk will be required to save the project after integeration. An 8 GB RAM will be required to efficently test the andriod application.
