If we look at today’s time we usually see car accidents because driver slept while driving due to which many people lost their life so keeping that in mind we decided to develop a project in which the face of driver will be detected and eyes will be recognized in that the our project will notice the eye movement of the driver if it detect any changes of eye movement which leads towards sleeping like blinking time gets increased of the eye or eyes are closed then it will ring a bell which will make the driver awake so it can save some precious life and there will be less tragedies due to the driving sleeping problem. After achieving these goals, we will look forward toward other algorithm present for image processing and then compare the results which algorithm will give more accurate results.
Main objective of our project is that our program will ring an alarm whenever a driver is sleeping or is about to sleep and this will be noticed through eye movements which save driver life or passengers life and further we do the following things which is actuation node for the attain speed threshold and data collection of 300 images (close eye, open ,half open eye).moreover pattern recognition of face while driving and 2 sec loop (checking) and buzzer notification and other feature of piezoelectric sensor. And the class room will be considered as a car.
firstly we wil collect data set of 300 images of open or close eyes then we will train the data set and connect our traing with the algorithm code and then we will look forward to detect the eye blinking of the driver .
Actually, it is an alert symbol for the Driver Drowsiness Detection. It is an active safety system in cars which is capable of detecting drowsiness or fatigue of the driver and thereby, it prompts him/her to take a break.Long hours of monotonous driving on motorways or expressways is tiring. It results in fatigue and also causes the loss of concentration to the driver. Many studies have been carried out all over the world on this issue. They conclude that the driver's loss of concentration is the main cause of almost 25% of all the road-accidents.Hence, to reduce such accidents we work on the Drowsiness Detection system
in this project we are working on image processing thorough two different algorithm in this we will detect the eyes of the driver if his eyes are closed 4 sec or more an alarm will ring and we will do this thing with two algorithm and at the end we will compare which algorithm gave the better result (aacuracy). we will do this on window (64 bits)it will be a desktop application which will be executed on pycharm
