The purpose of the project is to build a system that will help people to get pure clean water with just few clicks and in a affordable cost. The bussiness model of our app works like that there are number of suppliers that can subscribe to us and those suppliers can supply water to the people that are close to them. This enables us to cover more ground that ultimately helps people good product and in reasonable time.

People can register to our app and whenever they need water bottles, they can check our app which is the closest supplier to them, whom can deliver to them in a reasonable time and cost. User can decide and then order the bottles. The app model is somewhat similar to food panda but the point there is no such system exists for the distribution of water. Even the big brands like “Nestle” doesn’t even have online or automation system for that.

We have a web application through which user and suppliers can register to them and user our app and there are more opportunities for many local suppliers

The Goal of the project is to provide user easiness and flexibility to get water bottles. They can order bottles on demand or can subscribe for month or a year for continuous supply. This is will also relieve the people that they go through to get the bottles from the store wasting time in traveling, petrol etc. Moreover our goal is to reduce the cost to get the bottles, for this a user can see all the local suppliers that are closest to him and choose what looks best for him by comparing their costs, ratings etc.

The system we are developing needs to develop for the web and as well as for the mobile to give the customers and suppliers the best user experience and easiness. As we all know everyone has the mobile and its easy to use not every one has laptop ( or atleast have access to it every time)

Front End Web Stack

The web app is SPA so it is highly concentrated on the front end part. The technologies we are going to use is :

• HTML5 (A markup language for web elements)
• SASS (A CSS preprocessor for styling the web that adds more functionality to the CSS and also less code)
• ReactJs(A front end library for developing highly interactive UI)
• Redux (A state management library that works in conjunction with the react to manage state)
• Redux-Saga (A extension to the redux that allows us to manage the asynchronous actions in our app and change state asynchronously)

Back End Web Stack

The backend of our app is API based instead of the traditional style i.e SSR(Server Side Rendering). It will be use full as we are also going to develop the mobile app so the same API is consumed by the mobile app.

• NodeJs ( A javascript runtime that is used to execute the javascript outside the browser)
• POSTGRESQL (An open source Object Oriented Paradigm based data base that is used by many open source programs)
• ExpressJs (A NodeJs framework that helps us to create API easily and efficiently)
• SEQUELIZE (A NodeJs library and ORM to be used to have a consistent interface for the database connections)
• Stripe’s (A third party payment gateway and library for managing payments
