Advance level Surveillance Robot
Nowadays internet technology gives us a way to develop an integrated computing network environment for the application of different robotic systems. This internet-based robots’ concept is new technology without any limitations of the range of operation. At the same time, the need to observe more and more places, or people with a desire to pull out more useful information from the data, the extent of using embedded systems motivating the pressing requirements capabilities and capacity. We proposed a robotic system whose working based on Raspberry pi, which will go into remote areas, or places where human can't reach and provide us with the information in the form of live video transmission of that locations. When someone enters into a highly secured places, the camera which is mounted on the robot will start capturing the video of the surroundings to keep a record of the details of the incident happened and it will be readily available to the authorized person. Surveillance is the most important when we are going to secure anything, as it is monotonous job peoples are getting boarded because of that it might be risky to observing all this thing we are going to make a robot which is continuously monitor thing. This robot continuously watches and sending a live streaming of it to authorize person. Because of that monitoring the work will be somewhat easy it will be making accurate because of technology. This project presents a Prototype of the multifunctional surveillance robot used in remote areas. This surveillance robot will detect objects capture it in camera and give the live streaming to the authorized person then that person can give commands to robot to A metal detector sensor fire detector sensor and a robotic arm is also installed on the robot to pick some objects if necessary.
In the hardware and software development, implementation phase comes right after the design phase. It is a most critical phase of development where we have to integrate software modules with the hardware modules.
Here we will divide the development of the device into three phases which are as follows:
Multi-Purpose Surveillance Robot based on following benefits.
1. Send live stream to controller:
This surveillance robot will detect presence of objects capture it in raspberry pi camera and give the live streaming to the authorized person and then that person can give commands to robot to perform some certain tasks.
2. Detect object and notify the controller:
Object detection has been done through using SSD (Single Shot Detector) algorithm whose results has been shown on the screen along with the detection probability.
3. Detect any metals:
Metal detector has been installed on this robot which will detect the metals and then notify the user through beeping. (range 60mm).
4. Detect fire:
Fire detector has been installed on this robot which will detect the fire.
5. Detect and pick small objects:
A small hand is mounted on the which will be controlled through the authorized person from controller to pick and move small object.
As whenever we are going to develop a product, it has some requirements related to the system on which it is being to be developed.
