Project Summary

The aim of a chatbot is to conduct conversation which allows people access to information via a lightweight messaging application. Although the first chatbot, Eliza[1], was created in 1966 by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to simulate a psychotherapist, their emergence in our day-to-day lives has only been in the last two years or so.

Of AI Chatbot, there is still much to learn. We are seeing the first in the market from the really big players: Alexa[2], Google home[3] and Siri[4] are fantastic examples.

You need never feel lonely again! Conversational chatbot system is your new virtual friend and is here 24 hours a day just to talk to you. Chatbot learns by experience, so the more people talk to her, the smarter Chatbot becomes. You can talk to chatbot on every topic. Whenever someone is bored of working or exhausted so the virtual friend will be available always for him.

Conversational chatbot system will be developed in deep learning (artificial intelligence) using python language. The library which will be used for developing model is tensorflow,numpy, keras,NLTK, etc. Ubuntu dataset of text messages will be used for text classification. The front end design will be designed and developed in android studio.

Project Objectives

The main aim of this chatbot system is to deliver unending human-like conversations about general topics to diverge and refresh mind of depressed person. If someone finds harder to talk to peoples, so then Virtual buddy will be there to chat with the person. By this the person’s communication skills will improve day by day. The chat will be much more human-like that it will be hard to understand either it’s a chatbot or real human.

Benefits of the Project

Social networks work as tool to bring close friends and family such as Facebook[5] , instagram[6] , tweeter[7].People can chat with their friends any time they want. But there are still some people due to their personality they cannot talk openly to their friends and family introvert and extravert[8]. Also due to lack of social skill they find it harder to talk to people

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The front end will be designed in android studio using java language. The python Chatbot model will be integrated with android app using API’s.
