In many industries inclusive of the Automotive and Aerospace industries, predictive maintenance has become very important. It is hard to diagnose failure in advance and take measures accordingly due to the limitation of the sensors. However, with the great development in the technological sector, it looks feasible today to collect and analyze the data with the help of machine learning in such a way that can help in the predication of the failure. This project is focused on failure prediction of the three main systems of an automotive vehicle i.e. engine system, tires and battery. Sensors will be used to collect the data of the vehicle on the move. This data will be transmitted to the server which will analyze it. Further data will be processed with an algorithm. Algorithm will detect and predict the failure before it will happen. An app will be developed which will be linked with the sensor using wireless system. The app will alert the user about the failure beforehand. Furthermore driver behavior will also be analyzed, and rash driving will be detected. In this way many accidents and injuries can be avoided.
There are four main objectivess starting will the knowing the working of the sensors. Then the data will be collected using the senors. After that algorithm will be developed which will be used in the app which will detect the failure in vehicle and analyse the drivng behaviour analysis.

With connected vehicles predictive maintenance solution the users achieve timely maintenance towards increased up-times, better plan maintenance , optimizing repair parts replacement, reducing unplanned stops, improving vehicle performance and service compliance reporting.
Moreover the project will focuses on real life problems as it wil help in maintenance of cars. With corrective maintenace vehicles life will be increased. It will help in decreaseing accidents as it will be detecing rash driving behaviour. Moreover , its a commercialized project.
The significance of this project for the development of the country is that detailed, a person who needs corrective maintenance scheduling and unexpected vehicle failures prevention will be benefited. The maintenance work can be better planned when it is known which vehicle needs attention beforehand. Furthermore with the driver behavior analysis, fuel consumption can be greatly increased. For most vehicles on the market today, the impact of eco-driving vs. aggressive driving on fuel consumption can exceed 30%. Some studies have also shown that average fuel consumption in a fleet of trucks or vans can decrease on average by as much as 7% by implementing the appropriate driving behavior.
