As many vehicles have an unknown history, it is difficult to prove, if not impossible, to prevent frauds when offering vehicle services.
Facing frauds in automotive industry is an ongoing challenge. Concerned by this problem are not only the owners and potential buyers of vehicle, but also entities like insurance companies, car dealers, police etc.
In our work we present a solution for establishing a trust between these parties by keeping the records of vehicles registration etc. through Blockchain. A system in which a record of transactions made in bitcoin or another cryptocurrency are maintained across several computers that are linked in a peer-to-peer network. As blockchain is characterized by high immutability, transparency, security and traceability. Such characteristics make block-chain a highly promising empowering technology to maintain the mutual trust among the stakeholders in vehicles product service system.
Project Objectives- This project will provide a user-friendly web-based application which convert paperwork into digital data.
