Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryWi-Fi Based Home Automation Using mobile phone/pc & NodeMCU ESP8266 Platform was designed by the proposed a system that is based on Wi-Fi networking technology and it uses NodeMCU ESP8266 based board with controller. The system has a graphical user interface which is provided by mobile phone Blynk applications and Google assistant for users to get connected to the hardware and establish interaction with their home.
Project Objectives
|
- The aim of this project is to propose to wirelessly monitor the electrical load of our premises.
- System capable of controlling load according to sensors data.
- Over all reducing energy consumption through proper monitoring and control.
| A 220V ac supply coming from WAPDA used as input of system and output is limited to 5V through transformer. A voltage sensor in parallel is used in which step down transformer used as to limit voltage to 6V from 220V. We also used a current sensor ACS-712 which is used to measure the current in analog form connected in series with load. Output of voltage sensor and current sensor is fed into the NodeMCUESP8266 controller where after coding actual value of current is determined. Wi-Fi Module (NodeMCUESP8266) is used to send data to data base we made. |
