Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryThis project will create an Urdu Voice Assistant using raspberry pi that will take voice commands in Urdu through a microphone, it will use a trained model (Urdu) written in python script. In Order to recognize voice perfectly, it will use Wake word Model, natural language understanding and skills model, Speech recognition, and Speech Synthesis model, the command will be processed by raspberry pi and responsd through the speaker or through action.
Project ObjectivesVoice assistant would be able to do a variety of tasks like:
- Recognize when it is called to operate
- Tell weather outside
- Set the timer
- Operate smart devices
- Tell Wikipedia info
To develop this project we would be using Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and Internet of Things. We would gather voice data of multiple ages of people and train our system on that data. We would use a raspberry pi to listen and operate on user command. The user's commands would turn to some actions through some intents.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of the projects are as follows:
- Perform different daily tasks without any human effort on just one voice command.
- Automate some daily routine or repetitive tasks.
The first step is to gather voice data of different ages of people also with some noise.
2. Store Data in DatabaseThe second step is to store data in some database for further processing
3.Train our system on Wake up wordsBased on stored data firstly we have to train our system on the words to which we want it to respond.
4.Upload our model on raspberry piAfter that, we would upload our module on raspberry pi.
5.Train our system to perform tasks on smart AppliancesWe would train our system to perform some other tasks on smart appliances and set timers or alarms etc.
6.Train our system to perform a web searchIn this, we would enable our system to do Wikipedia research.
