Project Summary

The project is basically a Bus Tracking System for the university students, faculty and administration. The passengers will be able to check all the available routes and after having a selected route, can trace the live location of their buses. Administration can manage their system’s stakeholders and the routes.

Project Objectives

At the end we will have an app which assist the passengers with live tracking of their routes. The whole system of the transport of the universities will be automated. The administration now will no longer have to maintain the record data on their registers. It will be easy for the transport administration to maintain all record on this system instead of the registers and papers. There would be less chances that the bus will late or missed. Overall it will be a complete package for the transport using community.

Project Implementation Method

As we are three members, we divided each module among us. One of us is working on Node.js for backend services, 2nd is on React for web application, and 3rd is on Flutter for cross-platform mobile applications

Benefits of the Project

-Buses can be tracked by the organization along with their meter readings and departure/arrival timings

-According to passenger's strength per route, route schedule can be designed effectively

-Passengers may catch their buses on time with live tracking

-Administration can enhance their services by having customer's reviews

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In final deliverable, we offer it as a service for the potential organizations. Organizations may get register themselves on the portal and can manage their routes, buses, drivers, passengers.

Drivers and Passengers will be facilated with a mobile app, through which they can login to join their respected organizational scheme.
