Driving in this era is more of a necessity than luxury and knowing how to drive properly can make all the difference between life and death when it comes such situation,  According to WHO approximately 1.35 million people die each year in road traffic crashes, and according to NHTSA human error is involved in 94 to 96% of all motor vehicle crashes and they also cost countries 3% of their gross domestic product, so clearly we need more advanced and strict driving lessons and tests respectively, so we have dreamt to tackle this problem with simulation, we have planned to create a complete product that can simulate close to real life experience and assist humans learn more freely and better.

Overall converting driving tests and courses to digital world has its own benefits, like it is more ecofriendly than hours of carbon emission from cars, it can also save money as learning accidents in real life can generate big bills in medical and mechanical repairs, but in our case it will only require a reset.

P.s. this technique in general is tested and proven to be very efficient as all the state-of-art air bases, navy bases, train training centers have some version of simulation learning before getting hands on experience with the real thing.

Research

We will go through the previous Research Papers on such similar projects that how can we turn our idea into existence.

Calculations

Calculations will be made based on our proto-type model.

Firstly,        the        driver’s view dynamics will be calculated to match the exact real driving experience.

The display LCD’s will be arranged in serial formation to provide the complete view of the driver’s POV and the side mirrors etc.

Simulation

A simulator will be designed based on the driving laws and regulations of Drivers License Authority PAKISTAN extreme climate conditions will be added as well for better testing. Driving tests will be designed with real time driving score for the user.

Body Structure

Infrastructure will be designed to give an ergonomic vibe using real car driver seat and dashboard etc.


 

Benefits of the Project

To provide a cost-effective solution for driving schools and driver’s license authorities.

To test a driver’s efficiency by simulating extreme driving conditions that are impossible to replicate in real life.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
  1. Steering wheel, gear shifters and pedals will be synchronized with the simulator software.
  2. 4 LCD’s will be mounted on the LCD housing above the cockpit to provide extended view of the windscreen and side view mirrors.
