Project Summary

Energy Crisis is one of the biggest problems in developing countries. There is a big gap between generation and demand for Electric energy. Since the deposits of Non-Renewable energy are limited, the only solution is to use renewable energy. Solar Energy which is present in abundance can play a vital role the overcome the energy deficiency. the potential of solar voltaic energy can also be exploited for averting environmental pollution and managing atmospheric emission. This project focuses on the structure and application of an android based dual axis solar tracker which tracks the direction of solar radiation thereby adjusting the movement of solar panel accordingly. This facilitates the sun to remain perpendicular to the PV panel throughout the day which makes total energy received to be increased by 70-80%. The energy hence received get stored in a chargeable battery. This batter has an inverter attached to it so that whenever there is a power -cut the stored energy may be used to light up the appliances. The project aims at minimizing the dependence on power from the national grid station to meet the daily energy requirements in both urban and rural areas of the country.

This innovative system will help the solar industry to see a rise in their sales along with delighting costumers.

Project Objectives

1. To create new and innovative solar systems for households and commercial use. 

2. To build a path towards smart and innovative renewable smart cities projects.

3. To idealize the efficiency and output of the Solar system. 

4.By using android app making it smarter for the best user experience with no wastage of time.

5. To Enhance the amount of Electricity by using light sensors and by the movement of the solar system. 

Project Implementation Method

Implementation of the project first starts form Arduino board.

The whole system is programmed in Arduino all the algorithms of tracking are programmed in C language

As this is a processing system it takes input then process and output comes from the system.

The inputs are photoelectric sensors and limit switch and by this, it processes the value to output and also charge battery and automates moves the whole system.

the movement of the system totally dependent on the sensors

It uses resistors to check values of light coming from the sun.

Also, we use an android app to automates the whole system. 

Benefits of the Project

Renewable resources for electricity production are used

Environment-friendly

Automatic Rotation of Panels Using Light Sensors gives more Electricity output as compare to common panels.

Identification of Output efficiency of Electricity through android app.

Moveable Plates have more duration in front of the sun so that increase in output current.

Multiple pairs of plates would be easily manipulated through this product.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

the aurdino board is used for c language coding and connecting Bluetooth with android mobile 

also light sensors are used to detect sunlight and resistors and motors are used to move system 

also the android application is used to automate the whole system
