Solar And Grid Synchronization by DC Technique
The studies on the photovoltaic (PV) generation are extensively increasing because it is
pollution free as compare to power generation using fossil fuel. In order to use renewable
sources more effectively, they are synchronized with the grid. AC Synchronization is used to
sync but it is complex and has certain conditions. In this project we aim to develop a
synchronization system that converts solar energy to electrical power and synchronizes with
the grid by DC technique in order to share the load.
Load will be run on solar panel until solar can bear. As soon load will exceed the limit of solar panel, relay which is controlled by arduino will latch the rectified grid output to the solar output in parallel in the three phase rectifier. The output of rectifier will be then inverted in to AC in order to run the load. The load will be then equally shared by both sources which will reduce the burden on grid. As soon load will reduce to solar panel limits, relay will open and disconnect the grid. Load will again run on solar.
Design a project in which solar panel will be used efficently and its output is synchronized with the grid system in
order to save the electricity which is coming from grid. Saving people’s money as they will not have to pay heavy electricity bills.
Two volatge sources Grid and Solar panel will be used. Output of grid will be rectified into DC and other will be solar panel output DC. Both DC sources will be added in parallel into three phase phase rectifier. Output of rectifer will be then inverted into AC and load will run. Controlling of relay will be done by arduino.
People's money will be saved because load will run on solar panel and after latching of relay, both sources grid and solar panel will run in parallel which will provide you relief in utility bills. Easy system to install since it is has no complexity like AC synchronization. Incase of tripping of grid, solar panel will still run the load until battery is chaarged.
