Project ObjectivesTo design and develop a low cost cap that can be used in pandemic scenario ike COVID19
To let the people maintain social distancing
To inform a person through alarm if some one from behind comes ear
Project Implementation MethodFirst of all we will gather and purchase our components. Second stage is to combine these components together. After that we will program our microcontroller as per our needs. Then we will test, ansalyze the hardware and then generate results.
Benefits of the ProjectDuring Covid19 pandemic situation, in markets it was observed that when people were buying groceries and standing in queue. we were cautious about maintaining social distancing and m strictly maintaining 1.5 metres gap in front and sideways too. But later we found, the person behind us doesn't follow the social distancing and comes closer to us, which we are not aware.So this project helps to maintain social distancing from our backside even though we are not looking back
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe ultrasonic sensor is placed on backside of the caps, which measure the distance between the sensor and person stood behind us. We have programmed the arduino Nano where the variable " SuggestedSocialDistance" can be modified to range 100 cms to 200cms. If the measured ultrasonic sensor distance is lesser than the "SuggestedSocialDistance", then the servo motors start rotating gently from 0 to 180 degree and falls back to 0 quickly to get your attention.
