Nowadays, farm productivity increases by and large due to farm automation and use of advanced technological techniques. However, working has been done on the cattle's health monitoring system. Mobile application, Master node and slave’s nodes brings a new level of cattle's health monitoring. The monitoring system based on hardware and software instruments or equipments. The major concern is to increase the productivity of milk.This project enables the farmers to receive Early Warning (EW) about their animal’s health state (Inflammation, Temperature, Change in walking patterns and Delivery) through monitoring eating habit, Displacement or Distant Location.In this project we will focus on the buffalo’s health by using the sensors that will sense the sudden change in the body of buffalo like Temperature, Eating habit, Acidity level, labor contractions, milk quality/productivity and location in case of displacement. This Project is based on Smart Ruminant (An IoT buffalo) by using the latest technology and state-of-the-art frame work. The idea behind this project is to apprise of farmer about the health state of smart buffalo through early warning alerts by using mobile application e.g.  (changes in temperature, walking patterns, tail movement, productivity of milk). We are going to make an IoT based project (Smart Ruminant Animal). We will make a Buffalo IoT with the help of technology like as Sensors, Arduino ESP8266, WIFI modules and GPS module. The Arduino ESP8266 will be programmed by us it will send the data to Cloud (API). API send their data in database and then the stored information could receive by the Owner or a farmer. In case of displacement and away from farm at a distant location we can find through GPS module attach in the necklace of buffalo.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

We did the contact to the chief of the Punjab feed act lab We will do implementation at "Pataouki" through the punjab feed act lab.They will charge from us for the DR, Surgen,Buffalo, Labour.

Expenditue to incured on conviene of testing team and procurment of tools to be used in testing etc

Benefits of the Project

After successful testing of proposed project an idea of smart buffalo will be readily available for further experiment on pros and cons to further expand the IoT smart Ruminant animal besides providing a cloud based platform to the farmers to implement in their farms for early warning about the health state of their animals, enforcing remedial and preventing measures well in time to insure better productivity.
