Creating an application that will identify empty parking spots on a structured parking area (Malls) and updating you on your mobile application.

Project Objectives

Creating two parking models/prototype one for Dolmen Mall and other for Ocean Mall.
Backend application that will analyse the area.
Front end android application provide results.

Project Implementation Method

Created a backend application using C# and implemeted image recognition algoritms, flood fill algorithm to analyse the object, cars on the particualr spot and indentify the spot as vacant or accupied.

Frontend android application takes the results from the database and dispay it in an animated view.

Benefits of the Project

If you are going to a mall you have to find a spot whre you can park your car, if the parking area is huge, you will be driving across the area and look for the spot.

now with this application you can see the location of the empty spot on your android applciation and directly to to that specific place with wasting time, energy and fuel.
